Good day and here’s a simple take on the Butterfly Basics stamp set.

The challenge from The Paper Players this week is to feature a clean and simple project that uses butterflies.  I couldn’t think of anything simpler that these 3 beauties with a touch of the new Color Theory Designer paper stack.

I used the Butterflies Thinlits Dies together with the Retiring Bitty Butterfly Punch.  I’m going to miss that punch!

I added a touch of the Gold Metallic Thread for their antennae using a Glue Dot and then attached all three to the card from with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  You’ll notice that the small piece of designer paper was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well.

Here’s the list of products that I used.

Thank you for visiting today and Happy Stamping to you!

It’s all about you says today’s card and it sports some bright and cheery daisies too!

I used Watermelon Wonder and Night of Navy for my daisies – not the “usual” colour, but I like them nestled there.

I was playing along with the Create with Connie and Mary Colour challenge as well as the card sketch for Freshly Made Sketches to start my week off with inspiration!

Here’s the sketch;

and here’s the list of colours that I used.

The Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron(Low Inventory) inks and cardstock are on the Retirement list, so if you really like them, make sure to stock up very soon.  All retiring items go away May 31st!

Here’s the full list of products that I used for today’s card.

Hi there and take a look at the new Lemon Lime Twist InColor for 2017-2018!  It makes a great background for just about any image that you want to add to your project.

I used the You’ve Got This stamp set to highlight and watercolour the flower image to show off that great lemon lime colour.  The line of “squiggles” behind the image are compliments of the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set(new for this year)!

TIP:  When you want to do some watercolouring, use the Shimmery White cardstock as it will take the water better.

Have you received your new 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue yet?  If you are on my client list it should be in your mailbox very soon.  If you would like a catalogue and don’t have a relationship with a Demonstrator, make sure to Contact Me and I’ll get one to you.

Here’s the list of products used for today’s card.

Have a great Long weekend and Happy Stamping!

Today’s card share was created with the Love & Affection stamp set with a little layout help from the matching Floral Affection Textured impressions embossing folder set.

There’s nothing like and bright and cheery card to send to someone special in your life.

The embossing folders provided the inspiration for the layout of the flowers on the white image panel.  Of course finishing it all off with a lovely copper greeting was a must.

I hope that I’ve inspired you to give this card (or one like it) a try over the weekend.  Have a good one and Happy Stamping!

The other day, I received a lovely card in the mail that reminded me that it’s my 8th Anniversary as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

Isn’t it beautiful!  It came from the Canadian office in Calgary, Alberta.  Working as a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! has been a wonderful experience and I’ve loved every minute of it.

I joined during Sale-A-Bration and got some extra perks when I did 8 years ago.  That hasn’t changed because if you decide to Join my Team, you can get some extra perks as well!  One of them could be a lovely anniversary card from Dale at the Calgary office.

There’s not much time left.  Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31st so if you’ve been thinking of joining, check out the details and go for it.  You’ll be in on early viewing (and ordering) of great new products whenever a new catalogue comes out.  Go to This Link to check it out.

Take care and Happy Stamping to you.

What better way is there to celebrate the second day of spring than to add some butterflies to the pretty flowers from the Avant Garden stamp set!

It’s a 2-step stamping set which mades it easy to build your flowers as you want them.  I stamped the flowers in Flirty Flamingo and then over-stamped them with Soft sky ink to give a bit of a shadow.  The butterflies are compliments of the Butterfly Basics stamp set and the matching Bitty Butterfly Punch.  They were first stamped with Soft Sky and sponged with Marina Mist to give them a little pop on the card.  I love the softness of this card!

Just in case you need anything, here’s the full list of products I used.

Wedding season is coming up very quickly so today’s project is a gift card that shows off the So in Love bundle along with the beautiful Falling in Love designer series paper.

I got this idea from the 2017 Occasions catalogue and made my gift card to measure 4-1/4″ x 3-3/4″.  That way you can add a longer greeting and maybe slip in a little something extra.

I used Sponge Daubers to add colour to the band as well as the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere it to the card.

TIP:  When you are working with a very detailed die, I recommend that you use the Precision Base Plate(139684).  It adds an extra level of thickness for cutting detailed dies.  The Big Shot Die Brush(140603) will help get rid of those tiny pieces.

Here’s the full list of products that I used.

Today’s card shows off 2 lovely stamp sets from the 2017 Occasions catalogue and the 2017 Sale-A-Bration catalogue.

I combined the So in Love stamp set with some lacy details from the Delicate Details stamp set(a Free Sale-A-Bration choice).

This card is done up nicely in Calypso Coral and the lovely Succulent Garden designer series paper.  Can you see the Delicate details lacy border in behind the main image?  I think it adds just the right touch.

Here’s the list for you.

Are you someone who loves their T-shirts and wears them all the time?  I must say that they are my go-to top for as many occasions as I can manage!  Would you wear a t-shirt that looks like these?

The Custom Tee Bundle is just so much fun to play with and I couldn’t resist adding all those tiny flowers.  The greeting comes from that bundle as well.

I added both colours from the Metallic Ribbon combo pack just to amp things up a bit.  What do you think?

Here’s the list of products for you.

Good day to you!  Today I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Ombre ink pads to create this pretty card.

Do you remember the Botanical Blooms stamp set and matching framelits?  I brought them out to show off using the Rich Razzleberry and Calypso Coral Ombre ink pads.  The background paper from the Succulent Garden Designer series paper sets them off nicely too!  I added the greeting from the Crazy About You stamp set to bring all the pieces together.  Sweet!

TIP:  There’s a trick to using these pads so you don’t get lines between each shade of colour.  Instead of tapping up and down as we usually do, you need to move the stamp gently up and down and around in half circles to get the ombre look.

Here’s the product list for you.
