Hello out there.  I’m starting the week off with a soft and pretty birthday greeting with the Climbing Orchid Bundle.  Can’t seem to stop playing with this set, lol.

I used the Pattern Party Decorative Masks to create this background and used the same technique as this card.

To create the perfectly simple birthday card, you need the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die.  So pretty and adding that pretty orchid tops it off beautifully.

Here’s the list of products that I used.

Have a great Monday and Happy Stamping!

He, he, I’m stamping with this very cute Quirky Critters stamp set again and adding a cool background as well.

Isn’t it cute!  To get that cool background, I used the Pattern Party Decorative Masks, ink and a sponge.  Just layer the first design over top of your paper, sponge the colour of choice and then change the mask to a different background and sponge a different colour over it.  Pretty cool don’t you think?

Adding those pretty Glitter Enamel Dots finished this card off nicely.  The soft green matches the green in the background.

Happy Stamping!

Good day and I’m excited to show this card created by using our new Embossing Paste and the Old Olive ink refill.

This paste is easy to use, just lay the Pattern Party design mask of your choice over the piece of thick very vanilla paper and spread.  You will need to set the background aside to dry for about 5-10 minutes.

In the meantime, stamp the orchids, stems and greeting and cut them out with corresponding framelits.  TIP:  The branches were stamped onto Soft Suede cardstock and then cut out with Paper Snips.  When your background is dry, arrange the flowers and branches and add your greeting.  I’ll post a video for you tomorrow to see how to use this Embossing Paste.

Have you taken advantage of the Bonus Coupon special yet?  It’s a great deal for your August shopping so don’t miss out.  You get a $6 coupon for every $60 you spend in July.

Happy Stamping!

Hello and I’m playing with the Climbing Orchid Bundle – again!  This time by creating these lovely vellum orchids.

Working with vellum makes for a lovely twist, especially when using the Berry Burst ink!  The first thing to do is to stamp the branches onto the whisper white background and then run it through the Big Shot so you can add the Garden Trellis.  I did a little trick by adding the branch onto the greeting piece so it would lie nicely at the top.  TIP:  Just stamp the greeting first and then lay the piece over top of the already stamped branch to get an eyeball of where it should be over top of the greeting.

I thought that i’d show this Happy Piggy today.  Who doesn’t like happy dancing pigs, lol?

She looks so sweet with the Lemon Lime Twist card base doesn’t she?  I used Shimmery White paper and an Aqua Painter to get her to just the right shade of pink.  The new InColor, Powder Pink was perfect!  This stamp set is so perfect when you want to send a happy greeting!

Happy Stamping!

Hi.  Today’s share was created with the Quirky Critters stamp set and I chose to use the image of this cute little Quail.

Cute for sure, don’t you think?  I chose to use an Aqua Painter to colour this little cutie and added the piece behind the image from our new Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.  The soft sky blue works beautifully to help set off that little bird.  I’m also playing along with The Paper Players challenge this week.  We are use create a Clean-and-Simple card with a feathered friend image so the quail was the natural choice.

Happy Stamping!

Happy Monday to you and what better way to start a new week than with one lovely rose!  This card was made with the Graceful Garden stamp set and I love the rose images.

It’s perfect for watercolouring so I brought out our Watercolor Pencils and Aqua Painters to get just the right touches in that lovely rose.  TIP:  Use our Shimmery White paper when watercolouring.  It won’t pill while you’re blending the colours.

Notice that interesting layout?  It’s from Freshly Made Sketches and was fun to put together with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  The background looked a little too bare for me so I added that trellis image from the Graceful Garden stamp set to finish things off.  Perfect!

Here’s the sketch for you – you might want to give it a try yourself.

Thank you for visiting today and Happy Stamping!

Are you like me and love to receive flowers for your birthday?  This card would be a pretty one to receive on that special day.

The Paper Players posted a theme challenge to create a birthday card so I went ahead and created this one.  There certainly are flowers on this card!  I used the Birthday Blossoms stamp set and “stamped off” the calypso coral ink so the greeting would stand out.  What do you think?

Here’s the list of products that I used.  Even though there are lots of beautiful new stamp sets in the new catalogue, we shouldn’t forget about the older beautiful sets that are still available.

My Project Newsletter goes out tomorrow(Saturday) at 3:13pm so make sure that you’re signed up to receive it.  NOTE:  I give lists of the products that you need and directions to complete each project.  There’s also some Tool Tips and a Question and Answer section as well.

I hope that today’s card has inspired you to do some creating over the weekend.  Have a great one and Happy Stamping!

Today I thought that I’d share this combination called Hello Flamingo with you.  It shows how you can use the Color Theory Designer Series paper stack with any stamp set in the 2017-2018 Catalogue.

I attached a 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of the designer paper to the front of the card and then added each image to follow along with the CAS(E) this Sketch layout.  Each piece was stamped onto a piece of whisper white cardstock and then cut out with our Paper Snips. The pineapple, from the Pop of Paradise stamp set,  was coloured “direct to stamp” with the Crushed Curry and Garden Green Markers.  Looks nice and summer-y don’t you think?

Here’s a copy of the sketch so you can see the layout.

I’ve posted the Class that I’m offering for the month of June.  Please visit my Class Calendar to check them out and to sign up.

Here’s the full list of products that I used for today’s card.  You might like to give this idea a try.
