Category: Kid’s Cards

Let’s end the week with this card that’s perfect for the dinosaur lover!

I originally made it with kids in mind but anyone who loves dinosaurs would enjoy it too.  This card follows the same sketch layout that I used for yesterday’s card but highlights a cute design from the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper.

This designer paper and another 12 will be going on sale from October 1 – 31, 2017.  The deal is that you buy 3 and get 1 Free.  Stay tuned for more details.

Here is the list of products that I used for today’s card.

I wish you a wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping to you!

Welcome to a traditional twist on a kid’s card that I showed you the other day.

The first card was created with pinks (see it here)but sometimes going “traditional” makes for a really cute card too.

I used a combination of blues to make this cutie for my great-nephew.  Since this set is a 2-step stamping set, he bones were stamped with Dapper Denim and then over-stamped with Soft Sky.  Of course I used some of our new InColors for the different leaves.

Here’s the list of products for you.

The No Bones about It stamp set is so very cute and perfect for the dinosaur lover, give it a try yourself and Happy Stamping!

Hi and today’s card “case’s” an idea from the new catalogue that features a “bevy of dinosaurs”!

Is “bevy” the right word?  Not sure but I like it and this card was a hit a card class on Tuesday.  We used most of the new InColors to create it – so much fun!  You can find the idea on page 109, so go ahead and use these ideas to create your own cards.  To change up this one, just use different colours.

Here’s the full list of products that we used.

Have an absolutely wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping!

How about some Baby Bear love for you today!  I’ve been busy playing with the Baby Bear stamp set.

Isn’t he a cutie?  I paired him up with a piece from the Cupcakes & Carousels designer paper stack and the Butterfly Basics stamp set.  If you look closely, you can see the butterflies on the card base compliments of the Fluttering embossing folder.

This layout comes from the latest Create with Connie and Mary sketch which made it easy for all the pieces to go together.

Have you been checking the Retirement list?  Some products are going away very quickly and I don’t want you to miss out on your favourites.  Check out the list on my website to make sure that you can still get the products that you want.

Here’s the full list of products that I used for this card.

Happy Stamping!

Good morning and welcome.  My young grandson is celebrating his 3rd birthday next week and he loves dinosaurs.  So what better stamp set to use for the occasion than, No Bones About It!

I matched it up with the bright and fun Party Animal Designer Series pape(page 5 of the 2017 Occasions catalogue) and had fun with the Large Numbers framelits.  It all looked a little bare so adding the Brights Enamel Shapes gave it that little extra oomph!

Here’s the full list of everything I used for this card.

Have a great day and Happy Stamping!

This little horse is having a rockin’ good time for your birthday!

He comes from the Little Cuties stamp set (142990) that’s on page  17 of the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.  There are quite a few cuties in this set that can take you right into Easter and other occasions.

I matched him up with the pretty Cupcakes & Carousels Designer series paper stack and did a little paper-piecing for his saddle.  I also used the curved piece from the Up & Away Thinlits dies to echo the curve of his rockers.

Here’s the full list of everything I used to create this card.

Have a wonderful weekend and please, get some stamping in!

This loveable pooch is happy to bring birthday greetings.  He’s from the Little Cuties stamp set that’s in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.  There are several cute animals in this set, but this pooch spoke to me!

The sketch from The Paper Players was the inspiration for this little pooch and the bright colours(Crushed Curry, Pacific Point, Emerald Envy) from the Create with Connie and Mary colour challenge!  It was also the perfect opportunity to use more the the Party Animal designer series paper and matching embellishments!

I used the Basic Black Marker from the Neutrals collection to colour in the spots on little pooch and the Emerald Envy Marker to add the stripes in those cute party hats.

Here’s the full list of products that I used.

My great-nephew turned 5 this month so I had to create this cute centre-step card for him

Tyson's Card -

I’ve had my eye on the Marquee Messages stamp set for a while and am glad that I added it to my collection.  I think it goes really well with the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper.  You can add several other great greetings too which makes this stamp set very versatile!

Hi there!  I’m happy to show you today’s card as it’s a step away from Christmas – we have several family birthdays this month and next so I’m building up my birthday card stash.

This card is for a great-nephew who’s into tablets, iPads and such.

Techie Birthday Boy -

LOL, isn’t he cute?  I had fun colouring him with various Stampin’ Write Markers and then cutting him out very carefully.  Just in case you can’t see it – the Blackberry Bliss card base was stamped with the large stamp from You’ve Got This to give it a bit of a background.

Here’s the list for you.
