CHRISTMAS HAPPINESS – FRAMED

It’s back to Christmas cards for today’s post and I’m using the Christmas Happiness stamp set for this lovely, framed picture.

The Pretty Pines Thinlits dies worked perfectly for this card – the only stamping involved is the greeting!  I followed along with The Paper Players Holiday Pines challenge and am pretty sure that this works.

Here’s the list of products that I used.

STANDING GUARD FOR CHRISTMAS

Good day to you, I hope your weekend was a happy one!  Today I’m using the solder from the Sugarplum Dreams stamp set.

This was a special request from one of my clients and I was happy to oblige.  It’s very relaxing to sit and just colour and see that soldier come to life!  The layout comes from Freshly Made Sketches and it’s simplicity made it easy to highlight that solder!

Have you checked out my Class Calendar lately?  I still have spots available if you would like to join in on some stamping fun.  Here’s the LINK so you can sign up.

ADD A LITTLE MUSIC TO YOUR DAY

Do you like to listen to music when you’re stamping?  I do and, it may sound early, but a little Christmas music while stamping doesn’t hurt either.  That’s what I was doing while creating this card.

I used the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies to create that lovely frame on the card front and then backed it with a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  The Carols of Christmas stamp set added the happy greeting decorated with those tiny poinsettias.  The musical background piece is from the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series paper and it was cut to fit inside that pretty frame.  This is one of the cards we will be making at next Tuesday’s card class – want to join in?  Just Click on the Sign Up button and I’ll make a space for you.

I have lots of classes scheduled so make sure that you check them all out and let me know that you want to join in on the stamping fun.

Here’s the list of products that I used on today’s card.

CASEING A BEAUTIFUL CARD

The other day, I saw a beautiful card posted that was created with the Painted Harvest Bundle and just had to CASE(copy and share everything) it for our stamping class!  It was done is white and blue and here is the one we created.

I love the depth in the flower and it’s easy to achieve as the Painted Harvest stamp set is 2-step stamping!  Did you know that you can use the Clear Blocks to stamp as well?  We used Clear Block D to get that Sahara Sand square in the background.

Here’s the list of products that we used.

I have classes scheduled for September and October so make sure to check out my Class Calendar and sign up.  If you are interested in having your own stamping party, contact me as well.

We’re all heading to the race track this weekend for our last race of the season so it will be loud, fast and fun out there!  Have a great weekend yourself and Happy Stamping to you!

CAROLS OF CHRISTMAS BUNDLE FROM STAMPIN’ UP!

To follow up on yesterday’s post that shows a Christmas stamp set , I’m posting this one from a different set called the Carols of Christmas.  It’s not too early to start getting your Christmas greetings ready!

This is just one of the cards we will be creating this month to help you get ready early for the busy Christmas season.

The Carols of Christmas bundle has some really pretty images that you can cut out using the matching Card Front Builder Thinlits and that’s just what I did to create this lovely card.

Here’s the Link to sign up for this class that takes place on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

PINWHEEL SQUARES

Let’s start off Monday with a technique that’s a ton of fun to make! You create a pinwheel with scraps of designer paper and go from there.

Isn’t this pretty?  I used pieces of the Delightful Daisy designer series paper cut out with the Stitches Shapes squares.  The tiny flower, leaves and sentiment are from the Soft Sayings stamp set (page 11) and I fussy-cut the flower and leaves to add to the centre of the pinwheel.  A few tiny pearls, and this card is ready to send to someone special.

Here’s the list of everything I used for this card.

GETTING GIFT TAGS READY FOR HOLIDAY GIFTS

Hello there and I hope that you had a wonderful weekend.  In between getting the Christmas decorations out I made time to get these gift tags ready for tomorrow night’s class.

These tags measure 5″ x 2-1/2″ and the products that I used from the Holiday catalogue are on the Year-end closeouts list.  Several of these items are retiring and are guaranteed to be available until December 21st – after that, only while supplies last and discontinued after January 3, 2017.  See the items HERE.  They are conveniently divided into sections to make it easier to find what you are looking for.

Take care and Happy Stamping!

PUT A CHRISTMAS STAR INTO YOUR WEEKEND

Happy Friday to you and here’s a Christmas star to carry you over the weekend.

This was created using the absolutely beautiful Star of Light Bundle from the Holiday Catalogue.  It’s so lovely and will be included in several of my upcoming Christmas card classes.

NOTE:  I made a boo-boo on this card by adding the Retired and unavailable Iridescent Ice Stampin’ Emboss Powder BUT you can use the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter(133751) and Heat & Stick powder(100625) to get the same sparkly effect.

I encourage you to join in on my Card Classes – it’s the best way to get your Christmas stamp done ahead of time.  See my CLASS CALENDAR to sign up.

SHARING A TRIO OF SNOWMEN

He, he, I love this trio of snowmen all done up in red, yellow and blue!  So darn cute!

A Trio of Snowmen - www.cynthiascreativecorner.com

You can find these cuties in the Christmas Magic stamp set that’s available in both clear-mount and wood-mount.  The Paper Players posted a great challenge to use circles on our projects – so I started with the embossed background using the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and went from there.  Using Primary Colours is the challenge from SUO Challenges.  Who says snowmen can’t wear yellow and blue!
