BUTTERFLIES AND A LITTLE PIGGY

Good morning!  I just had to combine this cute little piggy with a butterfly on this card.  It looks like the little piggy is showing off a flower to that pretty butterfly.

SUO Challenges has butterflies and/or dragonflies on their mind and posted this challenge to play along with.  So I pulled out Butterfly Basics(138816CM – 138813WM) and added This Little Piggy.

I used out new Glossy cardstock to this card so I could do a little watercolouring.  But, I changed my mind and used a stamping sponge to add the Pool Party ink instead.

Here’s the list of products that I used.

A LITTLE MUSIC NEVER HURTS!

Do you enjoy listening to music while you stamp?  I do and sometimes it can get a little loud, lol.  But was part of the creative process for today’s musical card.

I thought the greeting from Lift Me Up was a small “tongue in cheek” way to boost someone’s spirits.  This wasn’t intended to be a Christmas card but it could be transformed into one just by changing the greeting and maybe adding another small image to the greeting banner.

Here is the list of products in case you’d like to re-create this card yourself.

ARE YOU A COFFEE LOVER?

Are you a coffee lover?  Then I’m sure that you will love the Coffee Cafe stamp set and matching framelits dies!

This bundle was sitting prettily on my stamp table so when What Will You Stamp posted their challenge, I just had to play along.

Here’s a good picture of the stamp set challenge.

Watercolour Paper isn’t just for watercolouring!  I wanted the coffee cup to look like the recycled cups that most coffee cafe’s use, so used Watercolour Paper for authenticity.  Adding pieces of Coffee Break Designer Series Paper helped to accent the theme of this card as well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ORCHID

Hello out there.  I’m starting the week off with a soft and pretty birthday greeting with the Climbing Orchid Bundle.  Can’t seem to stop playing with this set, lol.

I used the Pattern Party Decorative Masks to create this background and used the same technique as this card.

To create the perfectly simple birthday card, you need the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die.  So pretty and adding that pretty orchid tops it off beautifully.

Here’s the list of products that I used.

A NARWHALE KIND OF BIRTHDAY

He, he, I’m stamping with this very cute Quirky Critters stamp set again and adding a cool background as well.

Isn’t it cute!  To get that cool background, I used the Pattern Party Decorative Masks, ink and a sponge.  Just layer the first design over top of your paper, sponge the colour of choice and then change the mask to a different background and sponge a different colour over it.  Pretty cool don’t you think?

Adding those pretty Glitter Enamel Dots finished this card off nicely.  The soft green matches the green in the background.

PLAYING WITH ORCHIDS – AGAIN!

Hello and I’m playing with the Climbing Orchid Bundle – again!  This time by creating these lovely vellum orchids.

Working with vellum makes for a lovely twist, especially when using the Berry Burst ink!  The first thing to do is to stamp the branches onto the whisper white background and then run it through the Big Shot so you can add the Garden Trellis.  I did a little trick by adding the branch onto the greeting piece so it would lie nicely at the top.  TIP:  Just stamp the greeting first and then lay the piece over top of the already stamped branch to get an eyeball of where it should be over top of the greeting.

COFFEE WITH A FRIEND

There’s nothing better than coffee with a friend and good conversation!  This card was created to celebrate that fact.

I used the Coffee Cafe Bundle(145331) and Shimmery White paper to get the “recycled” look for the coffee cups.  The background paper from the Wood Textures designer series paper stack makes the perfect background as I was looking to give this card the feeling that one is in a coffee cafe!

CASE-ING THE CATALOGUE

Good day to you and today’s card is a “Case” (copy and share everything) from page 18 of the new Catalogue.  I used the new Coffee Cafe Bundle for this one.

There are several different sizes of coffee cups in the matching framelits and I used the smallest one.  A quick and careful swipe of colour from the Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker was all that was needed to colour the lid on the cup.

Here’s the list for you.  If you are a coffee lover and know someone else who is as well, you may like to add this bundle to your stamp collection.
