Category: Thanksgiving

It is with gratitude on this Thanksgiving Day that we are able to spend time with our immediate family.

Of course, there’s always time for creating and I love this pretty fox image to convey the thanks!  Our fall colours are quickly disappearing and yes, we did get a little skiff of snow over the weekend.  Not enough to stay around, but we take it as a promise that winter is not too far away for those of us up here in northeastern BC!

IMPORTANT:  I am having to create a new template for my monthly Newsletter and it’s taking much longer than I anticipated.  Please know, that I will be sending it out as soon as I possibly can and many thanks for your patience!

In the meantime, check out the list of products used for today’s card.

Happy day to you!

Welcome to you!  Today I made my own pumpkin because that’s what you have to do when you don’t have a pumpkin stamp, lol!

There it is in all of its shiny metallic glory!  I’m pretty proud of it actually and thankful that I purchased the beautiful Brushed Metallic Cardstock(153524) to use.  Then, all it took was the Layering Ovals dies(the smallest one) to cut out 5 ovals!  Then, to add some texture, out came the Subtle embossing folder.  I attached each oval using our Mini Glue Dots to form the pumpkin shape.  The leaves are courtesy of the Forever Blossoms stamp set and matching Cherry Blossom Dies.

I really liked the card layout challenge posted by The Paper Players and it fit well with my autumn-themed card.

Here’s the list of products used.

Thank you for visiting today and happy stamping to you!

A big Monday hello to you.  This week we are heading towards our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend so I decided to create this card as a celebration.

I used a the Colorful Seasons stamp set and matching dies and had some bits left over from the Bloom & Grow bundle so combined them all for this card.

I really like the selection of words in the Word Wishes die package so used it too.  There’s lots of choice so I recommend that you check it out.

Here’s the list of products used.

Hello.  With our Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend, I’ve been busy creating placecards for all of us around the table this year.

There’s nothing like a little thankful in your Thanksgiving dinner!

I took on the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge from The Paper Players this week and chose to use leaves, ribbon and die-cuts.

Instead of just one, two stamp sets were used as I had previously stamped and coloured the jug from the Country Home set and decided to use it on these pretty little placecards.  These cards measure 4″ x 5-1/2″ and are scored at 2-3/4″.

Here’s the rather long list of products used.
