A SWEET SPRING BABY

I’m talking spring today even though we got another dump of snow overnight!  It’s March in northeastern BC and that is just the way this spring month work, lol.  I’m making the best of it though and posting this sweet baby card for you.

Isn’t that the sweetest picture ever?!  I stamped the image with Basic Gray and then overstamped with Versamark so I could add Clear Emboss powder to brighten it up.  Then I just added touches of Petal Pink for the ears and noses.  Sweet for sure!

The Paper Players posted a clean and simple challenge to use animals for this week and I’m pretty sure this one fits:)

I think adding that bit of ribbon(Playing with Patterns 152468) and small bow finishes it off perfectly!

WELL HELLO THERE BABY!

I’m ending the week with a really cute baby card created with the Kangaroo & Company Bundle(156269).

I love these little guys, they make such a cute card!  And, the best part is there is a matching die for each image!  After a little colouring with the Stampin’ Blends, they were good to!  I chose the background design from the Playing with Patterns designer paper pack(152490) to keep with the non-traditional colour theme.

The layout comes from the new Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

SUCH EXCITING NEWS

Good day to you and thank you for visiting.  Today’s card features the Corner Bouquet(155273) Sale-A-Bration stamp set as well as the Many Messages Bundle(156272).  A friend of mine just had a baby girl and this is the card to welcome her exciting news!

The Corner Bouquet stamp set can be a head-scratcher but I decided to highlight the flowers with a whole lot of die-cutting.  The  Budding Blooms(149548) and Cherry Blossom(151456) were put to good use here for sure.  I am playing along with both TGIF Challenges(feature a Sale-A-Bration set)

as well as SUO Challenges(colours Melon Mambo, Black, White and Silver Foil).  If you look closely you’ll see those tiny silver leaves in the bush.

TIP:  I used our Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the Take Your Pick tool to place all of those blooms and leaves.

ONE MORE DINOSAUR

Are you ready for one more dinosaur?  I CASED today’s card from page 99 of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue.

So darn cute, don’t you think?  When I was making this card, I was thinking that it could be used for more than a baby announcement.  How about a congratulations for a graduate that will be going on to further their education?!  A touch of whimsy that will put a big smile on their face I’m sure!

HERE’S A LITTLE BUNNY LOVE FOR YOU TODAY

The Wildly Happy stamp set has such sweet critters in it so I picked the Mom and baby bunnies to create with today!

Awww, so very sweet!  I stamped them with Smoky Slate ink and then over-stamped with Versamark, added some Clear Emboss powder and there we have them.  I also added a touch of Petal Pink Marker to the ears and noses.

The beautiful sentiment comes from the Timeless Tulips stamp set and it so very appropriate!

Woodland Critters is the challenge from The Paper Players this week and that is another reason why I choose these bunnies.

MAKE A SWEET BABY ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi there and welcome.  I thought that I would start off the week with these really sweet baby announcement cards.

I don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl, so choose the soft colours of Soft Sea Foam and Daffodil Delight!  The pandas from the sweet Wildly Happy Cling stamp set, were heat embossed with Black Emboss Powder and the greeting was done with the Shimmer White Emboss Powder!

I just love these and I hope that the intended recipient does too!( the plan is to create another 4 just the same)

Where did I get the layout idea?  From the new CAS(E) this sketch challenge.

SO TINY-SO SMALL

Hello there and welcome!  Today’s card isn’t tiny but does quote one of the greetings from the Wildly Happy Cling stamp set.  This set is the perfect set to create sweet baby cards and I love it!

It fits perfectly with The Paper Players colour challenge to use black and white with one other colour.  Well, I added two extra colours because that tiny flower needed leaves for gosh sake!

I took the opportunity to use the Heirloom Frames dies and 3D Embossing folders to set off that lovely mom with her baby too!  Love It, now I just need someone to have a baby so I can send it to them!

MAKE A CUTE TREAT BOX

Did you know that the Parcels & Petals bundle has a great die that will make a really cute treat box?  I combined that bundle with the Dino Days Bundle to create this bright and simple treat box.

I love those dinosaur images and the matching Dinoroar designer paper!  This box was easy to put together and there are a few videos on YouTube that will help you.

Once the recipient has removed the band, sweet treat await!

FOR THE SWEETEST BABY

Hi out there.  I thought that I’d end the week with a sweet baby card created with the Wildly Happy Cling stamp set.

There are so many really, really cute images in this set which makes it hard to choose.  I love elephants though so went with this Mom and baby image and coloured them with the Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends combo.

The simple layout comes from Freshly Made Sketches which made it easy to add that soft touch of Purple Posy cardstock.

Here’s the product list for you.

NOTE:  There have been issues with the quality of the Purple Posy ink pad and it is not yet available for purchase.  So, because of that I used the Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker to add ink “direct to stamp” for the greeting.

Have a great weekend and we’ll see you on Monday.  Happy Stamping.

TIME FOR TAGS HOST SET

Today’s card features the new Time For Tags stamp set that is available when you earn Host Rewards.  It’s so cute that I just had to create this card with it.

I used a piece from the new Bird Ballad Designer Series paper and pulled out the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies to make the tiny hearts accents.  I wanted to add a subtle background on the white, so used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to add stripes spaced 1/4″ apart.  Click on the photo to see them up close.
The little giraffe was coloured Stampin’ Write Markers in Pool Party, Calypso Coral and So Saffron from the Subtles collection.

This layout is from The Paper Players, check out the ver versatile sketch below.
