Hi and welcome!  When I make my shopping list for the new catalogue, I always try to include stamp sets to cover all seasons, events and types of projects.  So today’s Relax Your Way card is a great idea for the men in our lives.

This was created with the A Good Man Cling stamp set and is not just for Father’s Day.  This could be used for a birthday or a “just because” greeting!

I know that the 3D Dynamic Embossing folders aren’t available to purchase yet, but I couldn’t resist added a little texture with the Pinewood Planks folder!(I’ll let you know when they are finally available).  The piece of designer paper(Perennial Essence DSP) was adhered first and then I ran the whole thing through my embossing machine.

Have a great day and Happy Stamping!

Hi and welcome to today’s all geared up post!  My nephew-in-law has a birthday coming up and since he is an avid dirt biker I thought that the Geared Up Garage bundle was perfect for him.

The background paper is from the Classic Garage designer paper stack and is, unfortunately, sold out.  My apologies for that but it did make a great background for those gears.  They were cut out from Sahara Sand cardstock and then I decided to brush them with a little Crumb Cake ink and a stamping sponge.  Gears are usually greasy, right?

TIP:  I used a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the Burlap Ribbon piece.  Which means that there is no chance of it coming off!

Here’s the list of products used.

As I reminded you yesterday, the Last Chance products are going quickly!  Check them out HERE.

Happy Stamping!

Have you used the Country Livin’ stamp set lately?  I haven’t used it in quite a while so brought it out to create today’s “Best Dad” card.

It’s a little early for Father’s Day but it never hurts to get ready in lots of time.  I’ve really been focussing on improving my colouring skills with the Stampin’ Blends and have extremely happy with the way this image turned out.  The guitar was stamped first and then I masked it with a post-it note, added the boots and started colouring.

The touch of Balmy Blue plaid was added to play along with The Paper Players Theme challenge for this week.  Doesn’t it look great with the various shades of brown?

Happy Stamping to you!

Good day and welcome.  I thought that today would be a good day to feature one image from the By The Bay Cling stamp set.  (It’s one of the Free choices in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue)

I love the image of the gulls on the beach!  This started with a piece of Shimmery White cardstock, an Aqua Painter and some Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake ink.  I used the Aqua Painter to apply the Balmy Blue water and then Crumb Cake for the sand.  Then all I had to do was stamp the “colony” of gulls image.

Then I decided that the greeting strip needed a little extra so used a piece of Nature’s Twine and frayed the end a little.  I like the simplicity of this and feel that this card would be a good one to send to a male friend.

Here’s the list of products that I used.

Happy Stamping!

It’s Friday and over the weekend my husband will be in his garage working on vehicles.  So, why not get a really early jump on a Father’s Day card!

This card was inspired by the great layout from Freshly Made Sketches with all of those gears and nuts and bolts!  I stamped over the Basic Gray and Crushed Curry with the “smear” stamp using Sahara Sand ink,  to give the illusion of grease just to add a bit more interest.  The same was done over the greeting tab – why not make it look a little like it just came out of the garage!

Check out this great sketch.

From flowers to gears, today’s card highlights the beauty of using Stampin’ Up! stamp sets and accessories!

This “you’re a Classic” card was created with the Geared Up Garage Cling Bundle (150610) .

I wanted the gears to stand out so first embossed the Basic Gray cardstock with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder, then cut them out with the proper thinlit die.  To give them a little more depth I used a Stampin’ Sponge to add a little of the Whisper White craft ink and then glued them down with our excellent Fine-Tip Glue pen.

Take care and Happy Stamping to you!

When I first saw the Geared Up Garage cling bundle I just had to have it.  What better stamp set to create with for the guys in my life!  My husband and eldest grandson both drag race so it was the perfect choice for cards for them!

My grandson’s birthday is next week so guess where this one is going, lol!

The matching Classic Garage 6″ x6″ designer series paper adds just the right touch too!  This bundle and matching accessories will be a focus of an upcoming Card Class, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, here’s the list of products that I used.

Hi and welcome to Cynthia’s Creative Corner!  December is a busy month not only because of Christmas but our family has quite a few birthdays happening as well!

Today’s card is a simple birthday wish for my husband!  He has blue eyes and looks great in blue, so I used that colour as the focal point!

Freshly Made Sketches posted a simple layout so it was easy to  follow along with it.

The Sunshine Sayings stamp set has some great sentiments and it was easy to choose the ones I wanted to use.  The hearts come from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies!

Here’s the list of everything I used.

Thank you so much for visiting today and Happy Stamping to you!

There’s lots of candles of today’s card – who doesn’t like lots of candle to celebrate a birthday!

This card is a bit of a step away from my usual kind of stamping.  It’s a very modern take using the fabulous Broadway Bound Specialty designer series paper.  No need to stamp a lot of candles, they’re already there for you.  All I did was add a bit of the Lovely Lipstick ribbon and, thanks to Itty Bitty Greetings, adding the greeting was easy!

TIP:  to anchor the bow on the ribbon, use a Mini Glue Dot.  It makes it easy to tie the bow!

Here’s the full list of everything I used.

Are you getting ready for Father’s Day early or do you wait until it’s closer to the date?  I decided to get an early start on Father’s Day this year and have this cute card ready to show you.

I started with this great layout from Freshly Made Sketches and went from there with a card base of the returning Mint Macaron decorated with strips from Nature’s Poem Designer Series paper!  The Call Me Clover letters were created by using the new and fun Layering Alphabet Edgeless Dies.

I needed just the right greeting and found it in the Varied Vases stamp set!  Presto – a fun card for Dad!
