BERRY BLESSINGS TO YOU

It seems that I am obsessed with berries these past two days, lol.  Today it’s all about blueberries and blessings.

This card was created with the Berry Blessings Bundle(157613) that you can get Free from Sale-A-Bration with a $120 purchase.  It includes both the stamp set and the Berry Delightful designer paper!

I’m playing along with the new Freshly Made Sketches layout and felt that a piece of Garden Green cardstock was the best choice for the centre mat.  I used the Greenery Embossing folder to mimic the leaves on the designer paper.

THINKING OF YOU

Happy Wednesday!  Today’s card features – you guessed it – the A Touch of Ink stamp set(155233).

This is another simple way to use more of the images in this set.  Make your own background with the flowers and leaves and then add sprinkles of gold.  To accent the gold, I used the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut out the Gold Foil and simply glued it over top with Multipurpose Adhesive.  Then all I had to do was add that greeting.  Pretty and pretty simple!

I followed along with the card sketch from TGIF Challenges for this one.

A TOUCH OF INK

Hi and welcome to another version of the Touch of Ink stamp set(155233) from Sale-A-Bration.

This time I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the images!  There needed to be a touch of green in the butterfly wings so I used the Mango Melody blend for that.  I also used a great technique in order to show the butterfly outside of the oval shape.  Just lay the die over the image and using a soft pencil mark where the die will cut.  Then, using Paper Snips, cut out the wings so you can lay the die under them when you run it through the Die-Cutting machine.

JUST HUMMING ALONG

Hi and welcome!  I think I’ve finally got my technology issues fixed and am more than happy to post this humming bird card for you today!

This is the A Touch of Ink stamp set(155233) that is available from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue with a $60 purchase.  It is a 2-step stamping set which makes it really easy to create pretty projects.

I used Basic Gray ink to stamp the outlines and then added the other colours.  The humming bird was fussy cut so I could pop it up on the card.  The greeting comes from the Many Messages Bundle(156272) and it’s great for the front of the card so you can add your own words on the inside!

YOU ARE IN INSPIRATION

Hi and welcome.  Today I’m sharing a card created with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle(156224).

I stamped quite a few of those dragonfly images in Stazon Jet Black ink and then gave the Stampin’ Write Markers some love.  I was aiming for a black and white them with just a pop of colour from the dragonfly.  And, since dragonfly wings have a bit of a shimmer brushed them with a bit of Wink of Stella(141897).  (I think you’ll probably have to click on the picture to see the shimmer).

This was a pretty simple card to put together and you can check out the products used below.

I know this is a late post today – still having technical problems but slowly getting them fixed.

Happy Stamping!

GROW GOOD THINGS

It’s Friday already and I’m wondering how did it arrive so quickly?  However, I was stamping and have this card to show you today.

I used 2 new stamp sets and tried a “new to me” technique.  It started off with those lovely flowers from the Forever & Always Bundle(156200) and the dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden Bundle(156224).

Check out that background that I’m very happy with.  I tried the inked embossing folder technique and found that it’s important to use a very light touch so the ink stays just where you want it.  I’m calling this success!

Have a great weekend and make sure to get some stamping done.  It’s good for the soul!

SENDING SMILES

Did you know that smiling uses way less muscles than frowning?  Well it does and it boosts your spirits too!  I was certainly smiling while creating this simple but pretty card.

I’m still using the Forever & Always Bundle(156200) and added the Many Messages Bundle(156272) for that encouraging greeting.

Those tiny buds were coloured with a combination of Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and “whew” cut out with the matching dies.  I think that the Fine Art Floral designer paper is beautiful and made it the background to help set off those tiny buds and that message full of smiles.

The card layout is courtesy of The Paper Players for this week.

Here’s the list of products used.  NOTE:  The Take Your Pick Tool was very helpful in placing those buds.

ALWAYS TOGETHER

That title is the truth in this day and age – we’re always together in our small, safe bubbles.  So why not create a pretty card for the occasion?

I’m carrying on with the love theme here using the Forever & Always bundle(156200).  I also decided to use a few more colours than usual with the combination of Rococo Rose, Pool Party and the Just Jade in the designer paper piece.  It turned out very nicely and I’m quite happy with it.  This just might be the Valentine card that I give to my husband this year(yes, he does like flowers).

A SWEET STRAWBERRY HELLO

Do you like strawberries?  I’ve been playing with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle(156214) and having fun with it!  Check out this trio on this sweet card?

I think it looks great paired up with a design from the Berry Delightful designer paper from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue!

It’s 2-step stamping at its best for sure.  I used Poppy Parade for the strawberries and Granny Apple Green for the leaves.  The matching punch mades it easy to layer those deliciously sweet berries!

This card was inspired by the new Freshly Made Sketches layout and I added a mat of Soft Sea Foam to highlight those berries.

Here’s the list of products used.  NOTE:  I’ve corrected the item numbers for the new Basic White cardstock.

SNOW, SNOW SNOW

Yes, we have snow and are expecting more this week along with much colder temperatures, brrrr!  Not unusual for this northeast corner of BC though.

Since we live on Charlie Lake, BC,  I created this card with the Waterfront stamp set(146386) to show what we see out of our windows.

It’s also to play along with the new challenge from The Paper Players.

I started off with Balmy Blue cardstock and just had fun stamping and heat embossing to create this wintery scene.
