BRIGHT SHADES OF GREEN

Good day and welcome.  Today’s card features shades of green with the designs coming from the lovely Garden Lane designer series paper!

Isn’t that green so very pretty and bright?  I also had some fun with dies – the Stitched Shapes Dies(145372) for the greeting, the Budding Blooms Dies(149548) and the Cherry Blossom dies(151456) because this card needed some cheery tiny flowers!

I’m also playing along with this week’s layout from CAS(E) this sketch.

Here’s the list of products for you.  NOTE: The Stitched Shapes dies are available in case you have problems clicking the picture.

HELLO TO YOU

Hello to you and welcome!  Today’s card uses two great stamp sets, Accented Blooms(151336) and the Painted Poppies Bundle(153827).

I had those lovely flowers sitting in my unfinished projects box so brought them out for this card.  They were heat embossed with Gold Emboss powder and then watercoloured using the Pool Party ink refill and an Aqua Painter.  Same for the leaves with the Old Olive ink refill.

That simple greeting was cut out with the Tailored Tag Punch(145667) which works beautifully with the Accented Blooms stamp set.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE SPRINGTIME BUNNY?

April is here, lets do the happy dance and welcome the Springtime Bunny!

And there he is all decked out in his bright and sunny yellow coat. Wait, what’s that on his ear?  A pretty butterfly just floating by!

I created this card from the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge that The Paper Players posted for this week.

I chose the diagonal pink, spring and patterned paper and just couldn’t leave out the butterfly!  Enjoy!

BRIGHT BLOOMS

Happy Tuesday to you and I hope this finds you well!  I seem to be focussing on flowers a lot lately and today’s Bright Blooms card is no exception!

I had previously cut out that beautiful band and decided that it would be the perfect background for these lovely blossoms from the Bloom & Grow Bundle(151069).

The Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder makes a pretty nice background as well and I couldn’t help pairing it up with a piece of the Woven Threads DSP!

THERE ARE BRIGHTER DAYS TO COME

It’s Friday and the start of a bright weekend!  I’m keeping that positive thought because brighter days are coming!  That is the thought that inspired me to pull out Beautiful You(151412) for today’s card.

It seemed only fitting to use the umbrella design from the Pleased As Punch designer paper as the background for that lovely lady!

I am also, playing along with the new Freshly Made Sketches design which made it easy to put this card together.

A little relaxing colouring and it’s good to go!

A FINE CATCH

Hi out there!  I hope that you are doing well and staying busy with your stamping supplies!  I’ve been playing around with stamps, paper and ink and trying some things that I haven’t done in a while.  Today’s card is an example of working to create a picture with the Best Catch stamp set(148598).

I had fun with the matching Catch of the Day dies(151821) to create this scene.  Wow, that’s a fine catch!

Here’s the list of products used.  Lol, there’s a little bit of everything!

WE’LL GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER

Good Monday greetings to you!  Today’s together card was posted on my Facebook page on Saturday and I wanted to share it with you today!

Since we’re social distancing at home I took it as the perfect opportunity to re-visit my stash of designer papers!  This card makes good use the the beautiful Mosaic Mood Specialty designer series paper(149478) and it’s blend of great colours!

The only stamping is the greeting which I thought was very appropriate for this time in our lives.  The rest was done with the Stampin’ Trimmer and Paper Snips.

Here’s the list of products used.  You can check them all out in my Online Store, just click on any picture.

WAITING FOR THE SONG BIRDS TO ARRIVE

The coming of spring means that the song birds will be arriving soon so I made today’s card with the Free As A Bird stamp set(149468)!

After colouring them with Stampin’ Blends, I didn’t want to cover up the background DSP so cut them out with Paper Snips and adhered them to a strip of Vellum cardstock using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

I used the Saddle Brown Stazon ink for the greeting but wonder if it would have looked better with the Black.  I’m still undecided, but what is done is done!

TO A WILD BLUE ROSE

Is there such a thing as blue roses?  Well, if you’re a stamper, there is!

I used the To A Wild Rose Bundle(151073) for this card paired up with the lovely Pressed Petals Specialty Designer paper(149500). There are many choices with this paper collection and I decided on blue roses to match.  Our Stampin’ Blends make the colour choice easy!  This card can be sent for pretty much any occasion, birthday, thinking of you, congratulations, etc.

A KALEIDOSCOPE OF BUTTERFLIES

What do you call of group of butterflies – a “kaleidoscope” and that’s what playing across today’s card.

I started out the the beautiful Beathtaking Bouquet(151612) background stamp and added those lovely butterflies from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and matching punch.

The Paper Players challenge this week is to use heat embossing so I pulled out the Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss powder for the background.  The butterflies were stamped with Night of Navy and then I added a touch of Balmy Blue with the Stampin’ Write Marker from the Subtles collection.

Here’s the list of products used.  Make sure to check out the Breathtaking Bouquet stamp from the 2020 Occasions Catalogue.  the flowers are beautiful and can be used many different ways!
