Three times hello to you on this lovely Sunday!  The birds have been busy building nests and “talking” these days and that is where the inspiration for this card came from!

The Free As A Bird stamp set and matching Stitched Labels Dies were one of the first items I placed on my Pre-order for the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue!  I love those little birds sitting in a row.

It was a great way to get some colouring in too and I used a good selection of our Stampin’ Blends.  I stamped the image on a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock and then “fussy cut” them after colouring.  Those birdcages came from the Bird Ballad Designer Series paper and I thought that they’d make a great background for that trio of birds!

It was easy to follow the layout from Freshly Made Sketches and I used a piece of twine from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack for the circles on the sketch.

Here’s the list of products used.  NOTE: I can’t show you the new items yet so that’s why they’re not on the list.

Happy Stamping!

Hello to you and today I’m showing off what you can create with the Good Morning Magnolia Cling Bundle.

When you’re looking for inspiration, look no further than the Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.  This is my take on an idea in the new catalogue that uses Stampin’ Blends and the new Stitched Nested Labels Dies as well.  A little vellum adds a great muted accent over the Magnolia Lane designer series paper!

I used the reverse side of the Purple Posy Stitched Linen Ribbon for a little extra accent as well.  I’m loving this stamp set and have a few more ideas in the works!

Here’s a list of basic products that I used.

Take care and Happy Stamping to you!

On this Friday, just dance!  It’s been one of “those” weeks so I decided to play some music, do a little dancing(by myself, lol) and create a card that shows how I’m feeling!

It took 3 stamp sets to put the idea together and I do like the way it all came together.  The Hardwood and Sheet Music background stamps are retiring so this was a great way to showcase them.  Think, sitting on your porch with some tunes playing that make you want to dance!

I got the idea to combine the two background images from the Splitcoast Stampers website and the layout from Freshly Made Sketches.

The image and greeting are from Beautiful You which, I’m happy to say, is sticking around.

Take care, don’t forget to dance and Happy Stamping!

Hi out there and thank you for visiting today.  I played around with some “no-line colouring” with today’s sepia themed card and used a retiring stamp set called Better With You Clear-mount and Wood-mount.

Love that little bird!  I first stamped it with Soft Suede ink onto Shimmery White cardstock and then, using an Aqua Painter, spread the ink around to give a little more definition.  I also added a little Crumb Cake ink with the Aqua Painter along the wings and head.

Happy Stamping!

Hi and welcome!  Today’s card features one stamp set that is staying around and another that will be retiring on June 3, 2019!

The Butterfly Gala Cling Bundle is, Yay, sticking around (no pun intended).  So I used it for today’s sweet greeting!

The Brusho®Crystal Colour is also going away (Gasp!) so I made good use of it for the butterflies.  Don’t worry though, Stampin’ Up! is replacing it with some new Pigment Sprinkles.

I followed along with the new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and kept this card bright and simple.

Have a great weekend and Happy Stamping to you!

Good day and welcome!  Today’s kindness card features the paper-piecing technique and what better way to show it than with the beautiful hummingbird image from the retiring Humming Along Cling bundle!

The clean and simple look is the theme from The Paper Players this week with the Paper Piecing techingue to make things stand out.

I used a scrap piece from the Tranquil Textures designer paper for the hummingbird.  To make is a little more solid, I also cut out a piece from our Thick Whisper White cardstock and glued them together with the Liquid multipurpose glue.  Then it was just a matter of “borrowing” that kindness greeting from the Waterfront Photopolymer stamp set and adding a Frosted Flower embellishment to finish it all off.

Happy Stamping!

It’s almost daffodil season up here in northeastern BC and I can hardly wait to see them poke their pretty heads through the soil!  In the meantime, I made my own bundle of daffodils for a birthday greeting.

The You’re Inspiring stamp setis on the Retiring Last Chance List so I had to get one last card made with it!  It’s available in both clear-mount and wood-mount depending on which you prefer.

The daffodil image is perfect for colouring with our Stampin’ Blends and I added a bit of Pumpkin Pie as a highlight.

Have a great day and Happy Stamping!

I love my job as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and just had to give the Love What You Do photopolymer stamp set some love with this “many thanks” card.

Sometimes simple is better able to get the message across so this simple stem of flowers is perfect!  As I’ve been using our Stampin’ Blends a lot lately, why not this card too?!

The simple layout comes from Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the greeting from Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set to take the place of the small scallop!

Time is moving on quickly and it’s pretty soon time for the Retiring List to come out.  Mark April 15, 2019 at 1PM (MST) on your calendars!  In the meantime, if there are some favourite colours from the 2017-2019 InColours, make it a priority to get them early. They go away really quickly!

Happy Stamping!

Have you used the Country Livin’ stamp set lately?  I haven’t used it in quite a while so brought it out to create today’s “Best Dad” card.

It’s a little early for Father’s Day but it never hurts to get ready in lots of time.  I’ve really been focussing on improving my colouring skills with the Stampin’ Blends and have extremely happy with the way this image turned out.  The guitar was stamped first and then I masked it with a post-it note, added the boots and started colouring.

The touch of Balmy Blue plaid was added to play along with The Paper Players Theme challenge for this week.  Doesn’t it look great with the various shades of brown?

Happy Stamping to you!

Easter is a little later this year but time does fly by so I had fun creating this Easter card with a bushy-tailed little creature bringing greetings!

LOL, isn’t he a cutie?  I used Stampin’ Blends to bring out his cuteness and added those tiny Heart Epoxy Droplets to show the love!  Of course the Fable Friends Cling stamp set has several cute critters to help send Easter greetings.

TIP: Our Stampin’ Blends are perfect for adding colour to the epoxy embellishments.

The Paper Players posted a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge and I picked the last line in order to play along.

Check out the product list below.
