PAINTED POPPIES REMEMBER THE MOMENTS

Hi there – I’m starting a new week off with the Painted Poppies bundle.  It’s just such a lovely bundle and tends to brighten up a winter-y day!

This card could be used for a wedding or anniversary greeting.  I was easy to create.  I love the Poppy Parade colour and it looks great with a little Old Olive thrown in!

Here’s the list of products used.  Make sure to check out all of the beautiful piece of the Peaceful Poppies Suite, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be using this suite in upcoming classes.

POPPIES ARE HAPPINESS

Happy Friday to you!  I thought it appropriate to end the week with some happy poppies.

If you haven’t checked out the Painted Poppies Suite you really should.  I used most of the products in it except for the ribbon and sequins on this card and the Poppy Elements make it easy to add some pop!

This is a 5″ x 5″ card that I created for the new Freshly Made Sketches layout.

Here’s the products list for you.  Just click any picture to go to my Online Store to check out the items.

TULIPS MAKE ME HAPPY

Tulips, in my opinion, are one of the happiest flowers because they announce spring!  Spring is a couple of months away for us so I started my own happy arrival of spring with this card!

This was created with the Timeless Tulips Bundle(153793) and the “coming to you soon” Pleased As Punch designer paper!  Each strip was cut to 1/4″ wide and glued down with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Once they were all in place, I used Paper Snips to trim the ends.

This card also uses the new CAS(E) this sketch layout(you might remember yesterday’s card here).

Here’s the short list of products used.

HAPPY HEARTS

Hi and welcome!  Today’s card is full of happy hearts for a sweet Valentine!

I took a piece from the most excellent package of From My Heart specialty designer series paper(151189) and created what looks like an optical elusion.  When I was setting it up to be edited I wasn’t sure if it was sitting straight or not, lol.  The strip of designer paper was cut at 3-1/4″ wide and 7-1/2″ long.  I used a pencil to draw the angled lines to measure 1-3/8″ at the top.  Then it was adhered on an angle across the card front and paper snips were used trim away the excess at either end.

The Meant To Be stamp set(148626) from last year has some beautiful dies to go with it so I made good use of them to add the interest and greeting at the bottom of the angled strip.  That’s it, a pretty card full of happy hearts for my special valentine.

CAKE FOR YOUR ANNIVERSARY

I had fun with this Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Happy Birthday To You(152308) and a couple of new products coming your way on February 4, 2020!

The designer paper is called “Pleased As Punch” and coordinates beautifully with some of the Sale-A-Bration products.  And, that cake and those lovely flowers were cut with the Birthday Dies which will also be available for you to purchase on February 4, 2020!

There are a few other items that will be available on February 4, 2020, check them out below.  These products will only be available while supplies last!

ROSES ARE A FAVOURITE

Do you like red roses – are they a favourite flower for you?  I do like them so made this one red rose a focal point on today’s card.

I used the Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp and picked out just the one flower to colour.  So I used a combination of Real Red and Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends to add different highlights on this rose.  I decided that sequins were in order and then added that pretty white bow on the sentiment strip to finish it all off.

The very interesting layout comes from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Here’s the list of products used.  TIP:  The stamparatus is the “go-to” tool for using a background stamp.

SUNSHINE AND ROSES

It may be very cold up here in northeastern BC, but when the sun shines, it lights up the mood!  So, it also inspired me to pull out the To A Wild Rose Bundle and get creating.

I decided to play around with our Pigment Sprinkles and love the way the different colours add highlights to those pretty roses.  It just seemed appropriate to give them a white edge, so out came the Versamark and White Emboss Powder.  TIP:  I used the Heat Tool to dry the paper after the sprinkles making it much easier to add the heat embossing!

The new Freshly Made Sketches layout came into play here with a piece of the Peaceful Poppies DSP and a small side plate to cut the rounded edge.

INTRODUCING THE PEACEFUL POPPIES SUITE

Have you checked out the Peaceful Poppies Suite yet?  There are so many beautiful pieces to it that it’s hard to list them all so I created a simple card to show you some of these lovely products.

It starts with the Painted Poppies bundle paired up with the Peaceful Moments stamp set(for the greeting).  The background paper is from the beautiful Peaceful Poppies Designer series paper – there are many more beautiful pages as well so make sure to check it all out!

This lovely simple sketch from Freshly Made Sketches was my starting point.

Here’s the list of products that I used.  Note – one of the colours in this Suite is Poppy Parade!  So appropriate isn’t it?

ALL OF ME LOVES ALL OF YOU

All of Me Loves All of You – what a beautiful sentiment for that special someone!  And I think that this card will make a lovely Valentine greeting with that beautiful sentiment.

I’ve been using the Forever Blossoms bundle(153781) again – I just love everything about it and the flowers are so easy to colour!

In order to show off a bit more of the beautiful Parisian Blossoms design paper, I followed along with the new CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

FOREVER BLOSSOMS

Hello and welcome to you!  I just can’t stop using the Forever Blossoms bundle – it’s so very beautiful especially with the matching designer paper!

Just look at those beautiful flowers on that piece of designer paper!  So I pulled the Pool Party from the background and stamped several blooms with the Pool Party ink and added the leaves stamped with the Silvery Shimmer Delicata ink(it’s retiring as of tomorrow).  The dies that match the Forever Blossoms stamp set make it so easy to cut out those pretty blooms.

Along the left edge, in the background it a piece of braided border made using the new Braided Border Punch that’s in the 2020 Occasions Mini Catalogue.  Make sure to check it out on page 29!
