ENJOY THE STILLNESS OF THE SEASON

H there.  Today’s card is a winter scene which is not too far off of what I’ve been looking at in our yard the last couple of days!

Well, to be fair, not this much snow but a little snow never-the less!

I love the simple greeting that comes from the Merry Moose stamp set and played around with the Snow Globe Scenes dies.  Notice the smears of white on the trees?  They were made using the new and fun Snowfall Accents Puff Paint.  Oh my it’s fun to useI  Just place it where you want it and then use the Heat Tool to puff it up!

I followed along as closely as possible with the CAS(E) this sketch layout.  The ribbon standing in for the strips on the sketch.

Here’s the list of goodies that I used. Make sure to check them out by clicking on the picture.

HAVE A HAPPY SEASON

Happy Monday to you.  I thought that I’d start the week off with this seasonal greeting card.  With fall officially starting soon it’s a great time to wish a happy season to someone special.

I love the Come to Gather DSP and this pattern sets things off so prettily!  The sprays and greeting come from the Frosted Foliage Bundle and work just as well for a fall-themed card!

Before I show the list of products, have you taken advantage of the Buy 3 Get 1 Free promotion?  Time is flying by so I recommend that you Shop quickly for your favourite Designer Series Papers before this deal ends on September 30, 2019!

PUMPKINS FOR FALL

Well, it is feeling so much like fall out there so why not focus on some great-looking pumpkins!

The Come to Gather Designer Series paper package contains some great designs and I put my focus on those lovely pumpkins for this card.  Well, I had to add some fall-coloured leaves as well so I could show off the new Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic ink. That’s a mouthful but the ink is fabulous to work with and adds just the right amount of “fall feels”!  So why stop at leaves, why not add a copper-inked wreath as well?!

TIP:  Make sure to check out all of the Delicata Metallic inks on page 16 of the Holiday Catalogue!

The original plan was to play along with The Paper Players colour challenge and I think that I did get all of the colours in.  Plus a few extras, lol!

SUMMER VACATION

It’s that time of the year when thoughts turn to enjoying the summer weather and where to go for summer vacation.  We are always excited to visit our cabin by the lake and today’s card paints a small picture of that.

It also fits in well with The Paper Players challenge.

The Waterfront stamp set is perfect, but I wasn’t sure if that little building was an outhouse or a cabin, lol, but decided that yes, it’s definitely a cabin!  There are quite a few colours on this card to build the scene starting with the new InColor, Seaside Spray.  It’s perfect for this scene.

Here’s the product list for you.

CHEERS TO THE NEW YEAR

Hi there!  I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and are ready to say Cheers to a brand new year!  I’m thinking 2019 will be a good one!

I used the Half Full stamp set because there just “needed” to be a glass of champagne on this card to compliment that great greeting from the Warm Hearted stamp set(2018 Holiday Catalogue host set).

Freshly Made Sketches posted this great layout which was the perfect inspiration for this cheery card.

I pulled the Petal Pink Stampin’ Write Marker out to give that glass of champagne a little colour and the sequins add a few bubbles here and there!
