CASE THE CATALOGUE

When in doubt, CASE(copy and share everything) the Catalogue!  Today’s card was cased from page 11 using the Jar of Flowers stamp set(152515).

If you look closely, you can see the thin red piece of cardstock under the image piece.  I wasn’t sure at first, but do like the blend of the red and Magenta Madness!

The Stamparatus(146276) is the perfect tool to use when lining up images. Just place the stamp and then move your paper as you stamp each image.  Using the Small Grid Paper(149621) helps to keep your paper straight!

FLOWERS AND MEDALLIONS

Good morning to you!  Today’s card features the Many Mates Bundle.   The Many Medallions large die makes for a beautiful background for these bright flowers.

I must say that you will absolutely need the Take Your Pick Die Brush tip(149655) for this die.  There are a lot of tiny pieces in it, but the extra work is worth it!

The Band Together stamp set and matching Detailed Bands dies were my other go to – those flowers are lovely and very easy to colour with our fabulous Stampin’ Blends!

I will be submitting this card to play along with the new Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  Take a look at the sketch.

A BRIGHT BUNCH OF SUNFLOWERS

Welcome and happy Monday to you!  I was working with the new and coming soon Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle over the weekend and here they are!

I wanted to step up my colouring so used different shades of yellow and green Stampin’ Blends to get a more realistic look.  They are the Daffodil Delight combo and the So Saffron combo as well as the Shaded Spruce combo and Mint Macaron combo.  I think it worked out fine, what do you think?

The Garden Lane designer paper is going away by June 2nd, so I had to use up some more scraps for the background.  Make sure to check out the Last Chance(retiring products) Sale to stock up before everything goes away!

Here’s the product list for you.  Note: it’s missing the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle because I can’t show it off to you just yet.

MY CUTE FRIEND

I’m giggling while posting this cute friend card today.  After all, who doesn’t like dinosaurs!

This really cute Dino Days Bundle(151139) is available right now as a bundle.  It is going to the new 2020-2021 Catalogue but the stamp set and dies will be sold separately so if you get it now you will save 10%!

CAS(E) this sketch posted this great layout to follow which is where I got the idea for this card.

Of course, the Dinoroar designer paper is going away so I just had to use a couple of designs.  It’s also a great way to use up the scraps in the package!

WHAT THE BIRDS SAY……….

What are the birds saying with their lovely songs?  I don’t know but I sure do love listening to them sing!  So, I was inspired to create this card with the Free As A Bird(149468) stamp set.

Of course, the card isn’t complete with a piece of the coordinating Bird Ballad designer paper(149592)!  It’s going away soon so make sure to get it to add to your collection!

I did some masking on the stamp in order to get that pretty trio of singing birds.  Just use a couple of pieces of scotch tape to cover up the parts of the image that you don’t want showing.  Make sure to remove the tape before stamping!

BIG G GRATEFUL

There is no better way to end the week than with a G for grateful thank you card don’t you think?

It’s a clean and simple card that packs a big punch!  I started off with the retiring Handwritten background stamp(146521) and carried on with the retiring Praiseworthy Prose Bundle(151077)!

The clean and simple is because I’m playing along with the new Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

To make the “wordy” background, I laid Post-It notes over the cardstock so it would appear only in the middle.  TIP:  To use a background stamp, I find it easier to lay it face up so I can lay the paper on top.

Here’s the short list of products used.

PLAYING WITH EMBOSSING PASTE

Hi there and welcome!  As I said before, I’ve been playing with techniques and today’s card features our Stampin’ Up! Embossing paste(141979).

I saw cards posted on facebook by Stampin’ Up! and shamelessly CASED them.  This is my version.

The embossing paste is fun to use along with the Pattern Party Decorative Masks.  I adhered the piece of designer paper onto the card front first and then layered my pattern choice over top.  TIP:  Use a tiny bit of non-permanent adhesive to secure your card to your working surface.  I also taped the mask over top so it would not move.

FANCY UP A BELLY BAND

Today, I’m playing with belly bands!  Well, a modified version but a belly band never the less.

I haven’t used the Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp(151612) nearly enough so that is what is featured for today!

Isn’t it beautiful?  I used the Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder to give it a dramatic look and love it!  Then I stamped it again with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink so I could colour those pretty flowers.  All they needed when done was to be cut out and embellished with some leaves courtesy of the Poppy Moments Dies(151594)

This whole card was inspired by the TGIF Challenge for this week.

Make sure to check out this beautiful stamp in the 2020 Mini Occasions Catalogue.

SIMPLY THE BEST THANK YOU

Hi and thank you for visiting!  I used 2 stamp sets for today’s card because I wanted the best thank you greeting!

So, that lovely flower is from the Forever Blossoms bundle(153781) that’s in the 2020 Mini Occasions catalogue and the greeting is from Country Home stamp set(147678).  I think it’s simply the best for these times we are in right now!

DAISIES ARE SUCH A THOUGHTFUL GIFT

How about this daisy?  I saw the original of this card on facebook and just had to CASE(copy and share everything) it!

I’ve been trying to use up the Pleased As Punch designer paper so used a piece for the background of this card.

The Daisy Punch(143713) is a great partner for the Daisy Delight stamp set(143669) and I added a few die cuts from the Poppy Moments dies as well.  I love the combination of Night of Navy with the white!
