Category: Thank You

Hello and welcome.  I went all out with colours for today’s card…..

….Wow, who wouldn’t enjoy receiving this card!

The Paper Players posted a very colourful challenge this week so I used cardstock instead of ink to show off those colours.

Each strip was cut at 1/4″ wide and then once all of the colours were lined up, I glued them down using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  Then it was just a matter of trimming them along the edge with Paper Snips.

I wanted the die-cut greeting to stand out, so layered it onto Whisper white to give it a subtle shadow.  A tiny bow finishes it off!

Here’s the list of products used.  Reminder, Stampin’ Up! has retired the Big Shot and Stampin’ Trimmer that is why they are not listed.

Happy Stamping!

Happy Monday to you and to the start of a great new week!  I was scrolling around on Pinterest the other day and found a way to use our Stampin’ Up! Window Sheets to create this pretty card.

The Tropical Escape Designer Series paper stack is going away so I wanted to use up some scraps for this bright card.  I used my die-cutting machine to cut out the greeting with the Thank you Thinlits die.  It was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to give it a clean look on the back.

I used our tough and very sticky Tear & Tape Adhesive to apply the Window Sheet.

Here is the list of products used.  NOTE:  I took away the Big Shot die-cutting Machine and Stampin’ Trimmer as they are being retired.  (I still use them though).

I love my job as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and just had to give the Love What You Do photopolymer stamp set some love with this “many thanks” card.

Sometimes simple is better able to get the message across so this simple stem of flowers is perfect!  As I’ve been using our Stampin’ Blends a lot lately, why not this card too?!

The simple layout comes from Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the greeting from Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set to take the place of the small scallop!

Here’s the list of products.

Time is moving on quickly and it’s pretty soon time for the Retiring List to come out.  Mark April 15, 2019 at 1PM (MST) on your calendars!  In the meantime, if there are some favourite colours from the 2017-2019 InColours, make it a priority to get them early. They go away really quickly!

Happy Stamping!

Do you have a rose garden?  I don’t but love roses and am thinking of adding some to our yard this spring.  In the meantime I can enjoy them on cardstock like today’s card.

I chose to use a combination of Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends for the flowers and Mossy Meadow and Soft Sea Foam for the leaves.  The layout is from The Paper Players latest challenge so I just had to use a couple of pieces from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer series paper to follow along with the sketch.

NOTE:  The matching Rose Trellis Thinlits dies are not available at this time and I am waiting for news on their availability.

In the meantime, here’s the list of products used.

OK, are you just as tired of these cold winter days as I am?  I decided to get a jump of the blooming season and created the first daisy for the coming season!  A few flowers sure help to warm up the day!

Pineapple punch is such a happy colour, so I stamped the daisy image and then cut it out with the matching Daisy Punch(143713).

The Tea Room specialty designer series paper adds just the right touch of spring flowers too!

Here’s the full list of products used for you.

I was recently asked to create a thank you card for a Manager who is moving away.  Of course, I was happy to do it and came up with this cute card using the Animal Outing Bundle (CM) (WM).

The crocodile background is meant to show the employees and of course, the rhinoceros is the manager!

I used a collection of our Stampin’ Blends to add colour and decorated the oval mat with a length of Black Cord and Leaf ribbon.  Word is that everyone loved it and we will wait to see what the manager has to say.

Here’s the list of products that I used.

Take care and Happy Stamping to you.

Hi out there and welcome!  Today’s card uses the One For All stamp set to create this bright and cheery thank you card.

I haven’t used our Poppy Parade cardstock very much so The Paper Players Colour Challenge was just what I needed to bring it out!  They asked us to pair it up with So Saffron and Smoky Slate as well and you can see both colours on this card.

The Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon adds just the right subtle touch.  TIP:  To avoid showing glue on this sheer ribbon, use a Stamping Sponge to add Liquid Multipurpose Glue.  Presto – no glue showing with this easy technique!

Check out the products I used below.  The One For Alll stamp set has some great “all-season” sentiments and I’ll be using it often!

Have a fabulous day and Happy Stamping to you!

Thinking of you with this autumn-themed card today.  We do have a layer of snow on the ground but I thought it would be good to step away from Christmas for this card.

I used a card base of Gray Granite and layered on a piece of designer paper from the Wood Textures paper stack.  The card needed some colour, so Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze were my go-to colours for the leaves.

That little piece on the bottom of the greeting oval is from the Frames Elements package.  It need colour, so I dipped it in the Mossy Meadow ink pad and then carefully applied it using tweezers and our strong Liquid Multipurpose glue.

I used the CAS(E) this sketch layout as a starting point,

and the What Will you Stamp challenge for inspiration.

Here’s the list of products used.

It’s always a good time to say thanks and this card fits the bill very nicely!

I used a combination of the Falling for Leaves and Warm Hearted stamp sets for this.  The Warm Hearted set has several different greetings to cover all of the seasons and greetings that you need.

That lovely leaf was stamped first with Crushed Curry and then I used a small piece of our Stamping Sponges to add touches of Garden Green for effect.  The simple “thanks” was stamped over top with Tranquil Tide ink and the whole piece was backed with the very cool Chicken Wire Elements.

I used the layout from CAS(E) this sketch and played along with The Paper Players theme challenge of giving thanks.

Here’s the sketch in case you’d like to give it a try.

In case you were wondering….. here’s the short list of products that I used.

Have a happy, thankful day and Happy Stamping!

Do you remember when the Lovely As A Tree stamp set made it’s first appearance in the Stampin’ Up! catalogue?  It’s been years, which just goes to show that this stamp set has “roots” (pun intended).

I decided to give it some love in order to play along with The Paper Players challenge this week.  We’re to use trees and leaves as the focus.

This piece from the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series paper supplied the background and I found that Cajun Craze works fine with the Calypso Coral in the piece.  I fussy-cut those tiny leaves attached to the sentiment strip and used a Mini Glue Dot to attach the tiny bow.

Here’s the full list of products that I used.
