Category: Sympathy

Today’s card features a beautiful greeting from the Timeless Tulips stamp set and some soft and lovely flowers.

I love that greeting, it is perfect for an upcoming birthday!  I had previously stamped the flower spray and pulled it out of my UFP tray (unfinished projects) for this card.

It works perfectly with the new CAS(E) this sketch layout.

I chose the softness of So Saffron for the flowers with a little touch of Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.  They make a good contrast to the background designer paper from the Perennial Essence pack!

Have a great day and Happy Stamping!

You’ve been on my mind!  Sometimes a thought turns into a lovely greeting card and that’s just what happened today!  The Beautifully Detailed Laser-cut Specialty Paper is the focal point for this greeting card.

Sometimes you don’t need a lot to create a beautiful card!  Just stamp a few butterflies and you’re off!  I used the Stamparatus for perfect placement of that greeting so I could play along with CAS(E) this sketch this week.

At first glance, I wasn’t sure about this sketch but I love how the card turned out!

Here’s the short list of products used.

Happy Stamping!

Today I’m so happy to show off this beautiful card that was created with the Serene Garden photopolymer bundle and Accented Blooms!

Two techniques were used – heat embossing for the greeting and spritzing the Prussian Blue Brusho®Crystal Colour!  After the sheet of paper had dried, I used the Garden Scene Framelits to cut out that beautiful bird and butterfly!

The inspiration for this card came from the new sketch layout from Freshly Made Sketches.

Which just goes to show that you can create something beautiful with the simplest of sketches!

Heres the rather long list of everything I used to create today’s card.

Enjoy and Happy Stamping!

Welcome to you for today’s card showing warmth and caring!  I played around with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and matching Flourish Thinlits Dies.

Freshly Made Sketches posted a bit of a challenging layout this week

and I loved being able to add that scalloped edge!  I used the new Gorgeous Grape cardstock and ink – doesn’t it look lovely on the Whisper White background!

I’m posting the list of products that I used and, great news…… you will be able to order the new items after Noon today!

Check out my Online Store and Happy Shopping and Stamping!

Hi and welcome.  I finally got my hands on one of the new additions to our Sale-A-Bration catalogue, the Blossoming Basket Bundle, and created this sweet card with it.

I used our great Watercolor Pencils and an Aqua Painter to colour those lovely flowers and leaves as well as the basket itself.  Instead of Shimmery White cardstock or Water Color paper, I used a piece of our Thick Whisper White cardstock for the image.  As long as you use a light touch with the Aqua Painter, this is a good way to go.

Starting off with a great sketch layout helps you to put your idea onto the cardstock and Freshly Made Sketches provided a great one!

NOTE:  The Blossoming Basket Bundle is listed as a Level 2 Free purchase, so your order before tax and shipping needs to be at $120.00.

A list of everything I used to create this basket of love is below.

Don’t worry, spring is coming… Happy Stamping while we wait!

Are you like me and can hardly wait to see the daffodils peaking up through the garden?  It will be a while before that happens here, so I used the You’re Inspiring stamp set again to highlight this lovely bunch of daffodils!

That pattern from the Delightful Daisy Designer series paper sets it off nicely and I couldn’t resist adding that cute bow!  I also used the same colours from our Stampin’ Blends for this lovely row.

TIP:  When colouring smaller images, it helps to use the smaller tip to keep smudges away!

This card will work nicely for a get well or even a birthday greeting.  Who could resist those lovely blooms?

Happy Stamping!

Hi from a very snowy northeast BC where we are all yearning for Spring to get here.  We’ve just dug out of about 83cm(32.67in) of snow since Friday, nothing unusual for our neck of the woods but, sheesh, spring cannot come soon enough!

So, I created this simple daisy card!

Do you remember the Daisy Delight Bundle?  It seemed to be the perfect set to bring over the weekend.  And, it falls in with the CAS(E) this sketch card layout as well.

To finish off that pretty daisy, I used the Leaf Punch which has been carried over from the Holiday catalogue.  You can find it on the back page of the 2018 Occasions Catalogue along with a few other favourites.

Here’s the full list of everything I used to put this springtime card together.

Don’t worry, spring is on the way – delayed a little, but definitely on the way.  Keep on Stamping!

Today’s card is focused on the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set.  Hmmm, this week is turning out to be focussed on using our beautiful and fun Sale-A-Bration stamp sets!  Well, why not!

I love the stand-out red for this card!  I stamped that flower image twice.  Once for the background of flowers and the second time so I could cut out the popped up flowers to add a little depth.  I’m actually playing along with The Paper Players colour challenge.

The dilemma for me was how to add the Crumb Cake(kraft) but my ribbon collection came through!  I added a short length of our 3/8″ Classic Weave in Crumb Cake and topped it with those pretty red enamel shapes.  Challenge completed!

As usual, here’s the list of everything I used for this card.

Have a fabulous day and don’t forget to add a little stamping to it!

Every so often one needs to send a sympathy card so I created this one to have ready.

I haven’t used the beautiful Rose Wonder stamp set and matching  Rose Garden Thinlits so the layout that Freshly Made Sketches posted made the selection easy!

I chose this colour scheme from the Colour Inspiration Challenge and that is why we have Dapper Denim, Sahara Sand, Basic Gray(greeting and label) and, of course, Whisper White.

If you look very closely, you will see that I used the Woodland Embossing Folder to give a little texture to that leaf spray just above the rose.

TECHNIQUE TIP:  How did I get the pieces of the rose to stay together?  Well, I first cut out a small circle and then after the rose had been cut out, and carefully holding the rose cut-out, glued it to the back of the flower.  That way it all stayed together to look like one piece.  Then, it was easy to cut the frame and glue it to the rose as an outline.  Make sure to use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen(138309) to attach the frame,

Have an awesome Monday and Happy Stamping!

Hello and I’m playing with the Climbing Orchid Bundle – again!  This time by creating these lovely vellum orchids.

Working with vellum makes for a lovely twist, especially when using the Berry Burst ink!  The first thing to do is to stamp the branches onto the whisper white background and then run it through the Big Shot so you can add the Garden Trellis.  I did a little trick by adding the branch onto the greeting piece so it would lie nicely at the top.  TIP:  Just stamp the greeting first and then lay the piece over top of the already stamped branch to get an eyeball of where it should be over top of the greeting.

Here is the list of products used for this card.
