GET BETTER SOON

When I first saw the Back on Your Feet stamp set(149385), I just had to have it.  The oh-so-cute critters make sending get better soon greetings are the best for putting a smile on the recipient’s face!

Awww, poor guy!  I had a ton of fun with this card and, in my defence, the greeting is a little off-kilter because that poor little sloth doesn’t feel too well.

I used a few Stampin’ Blends to colour as well as the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker for the bandage!

The layout from CAS(E) this sketch was the starting point and I added a little help from the Toile Christmas stamp set and matching dies for the “branch”.

Here’s the list of products used.

IT’S JUST KNOT GOOD

I’m laughing as I post this.  Who has every seen a giraffe with a knot in its neck?

Laughing is the name of the game when using the Back On Your Feet stamp set(149385)!  The images are so funny and should cheer up someone who’s under the weather every time!

I used the new Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends to colour that “knotty” giraffe and backed the image up with a piece from the Playing with Patterns DSP(152490).  And, there’s nothing like a bright card base to cheer someone up as well.

I’m hoping that this will qualify as a Clean-and-Simple card to play along with The Paper Players challenge.

Here’s the list of products used and make sure to check out the Back On Your Feet stamp set too.

IT’S A BEAUTY

To end this week with a little beauty, I’ve created a card with a beautiful soft purple flower!

I loved putting Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green together, it’s such a bright and happy combination!  I used the Band Together Bundle(151076) for this and “spoiler alert” both the stamp set and dies are in the new 2020-2021 Catalogue!  However – they will not be a bundle, so I recommend that you save 10% by getting it before the end of this month!

GOLDEN THOUGHTS OF YOU

Hi there and welcome.  Today, I’m going golden to send thoughts to someone special.

The Mosaic Mood Specialty designer paper(149478) is very beautiful and works perfectly with my golden thoughts idea!  I’m finding that I’m using much more designer paper lately because it is all going away when the new Annual Catalogue comes in.

This golden label was created to play along with The Paper Players challenge to add sparkle to our project.

Here’s the list of products used.  Even though we are all keeping our distance from one another, my Online Store is open and delivery will go directly to you.

TIMELESS TULIPS FOR A GET WELL CARD

Good morning and welcome!  I have been thinking of all of the people who may be ill during this time and decided to create a get well card to send my thoughts.

There’s nothing better than a card covered with bright and pretty tulips to send caring thoughts, don’t you think?

I followed along with this sketch from the TGIF Challenges blog and pulled out the Stitched Lace Dies(149625) to play with.  NOTE:  It’s a tough die to use, but worth it in the end!  Just make sure to use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and foam pads to get all of those tiny pieces out!

SUNSHINE AND ROSES

It may be very cold up here in northeastern BC, but when the sun shines, it lights up the mood!  So, it also inspired me to pull out the To A Wild Rose Bundle and get creating.

I decided to play around with our Pigment Sprinkles and love the way the different colours add highlights to those pretty roses.  It just seemed appropriate to give them a white edge, so out came the Versamark and White Emboss Powder.  TIP:  I used the Heat Tool to dry the paper after the sprinkles making it much easier to add the heat embossing!

The new Freshly Made Sketches layout came into play here with a piece of the Peaceful Poppies DSP and a small side plate to cut the rounded edge.

SHADES OF PURPLE

Happy Friday to you.  Today’s post features the colour purple with this soft and pretty all occasion card.

I was thinking birthday with this one but really love the font on that greeting from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.

The softly coloured wreath was done in Purple Posy and comes from the Painted Harvest stamp set.  I love the tufted background created with the Tufted 3D embossing folder.  It’s really easy to use when partnered with the 3D Embossing Folder Plate.

Here’s the list of all of the products that I used to create this pretty card.

IT’S TIME FOR TEA

With the cold and snow we’ve been having lately, I decided that a project made with Tea Together stamp set would be the best way to go today.

This stamp set was carried over last year along with the matching Tea Time dies!  I was following along with the CAS(E) this sketch layout and decide to use our Pigment Sprinkles(Bermuda Bay) and a Stampin’ Spritzer for the background piece.

NOTE:  When it dries it wrinkles the paper so I recommend using Tear & Tape Adhesive to attach it to the card front.

DOUBLE THE HAPPINESS

Hi and welcome!  Today’s card features the Varied Vases Photopolymer stamp set and matching Vases Builder Punch.

It is so sweet with those trailing blooms and I’m sure will be received with delight!  To get those flowers and vases placed just right, I used a post-it note to cover the designer paper while stamping the flower images.

I followed along with the new CAS(E) this sketch challenge for the layout which worked perfectly with my idea.

HELLO THERE

Well hello and welcome!  I felt that his Monday needed some bright flowers so I pulled out the Band Together Bundle and the Pressed Petals Specialty designer paper and got to work.

In case you haven’t noticed, I really enjoy colouring with our fabulous Stampin’ Blends and chose Lovely Lipstick for those bright flowers.  The dies that go with the Band Together set include shapes for leaves so I cut out quite a few to add to those blooms.

There’s a little bit of everything on today’s card and it’s all listed below for you.
