DOUBLE THE HAPPINESS

Hi and welcome!  Today’s card features the Varied Vases Photopolymer stamp set and matching Vases Builder Punch.

It is so sweet with those trailing blooms and I’m sure will be received with delight!  To get those flowers and vases placed just right, I used a post-it note to cover the designer paper while stamping the flower images.

I followed along with the new CAS(E) this sketch challenge for the layout which worked perfectly with my idea.

HELLO THERE

Well hello and welcome!  I felt that his Monday needed some bright flowers so I pulled out the Band Together Bundle and the Pressed Petals Specialty designer paper and got to work.

In case you haven’t noticed, I really enjoy colouring with our fabulous Stampin’ Blends and chose Lovely Lipstick for those bright flowers.  The dies that go with the Band Together set include shapes for leaves so I cut out quite a few to add to those blooms.

There’s a little bit of everything on today’s card and it’s all listed below for you.

Happy Friday to you and welcome!  Today’s card features the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle with it’s pretty pink magnolia blooms

I love the softness of the combination of Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo!  Our Stampin’ Blends once again are featured here.  Check them out, they make your colouring look very professional!

I needed a great card sketch idea for this project so went along with the new sketch this week from Freshly Made Sketches.

THINKING OF YOU

Sometimes you just need to send a thinking of you card off to someone who needs to hear from you.  Today’s card should make that person happy!

It’s a study in soft blues with the combination of the new InColour Seaside Spray and an “old” InColour of Blueberry Bushel.

I downloaded the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches this week for the layout inspiration and pulled out Woven Heirlooms and Butterfly Gala for the focal points.

The butterflies were stamped onto a scrap piece of Woven Threads designer paper and then cut out with the matching punch.  I used the very handy Take Your Pick tool to place them just so on the card.  Make sure to check out this tool, it has many uses!

SOMEBODY LOVES YOU

I’ve been thinking of all of the wonderful people in my life and it inspired me to create this card to show that there is always somebody loves you!

The Butterfly Gala stamp set and matching punch were put to good use here along with that lovely greeting from the new Parcels & Petals stamp set.

Of course a good layout was needed and CAS(E) this sketch provided it.

This card also shows off two of our fabulous new InColors, Pretty Peacock(card base and butterflies) and Rococo Rose for the greeting.

SENDING BUTTERFLY HUGS

Hi and welcome!  Today’s card features one stamp set that is staying around and another that will be retiring on June 3, 2019!

The Butterfly Gala Cling Bundle is, Yay, sticking around (no pun intended).  So I used it for today’s sweet greeting!

The Brusho®Crystal Colour is also going away (Gasp!) so I made good use of it for the butterflies.  Don’t worry though, Stampin’ Up! is replacing it with some new Pigment Sprinkles.

I followed along with the new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and kept this card bright and simple.

ALWAYS FOR YOU

Wow, it’s Friday already and I’m wondering why this week went by so quickly, lol!  But, the stamping never stops here and today’s Always You card highlights the beautiful All My Love Designer Series paper and a little colouring.

There’s nothing like sending a pretty card to someone who needs a lift – so why not this one!

I followed along with the new layout from Freshly Made Sketches for this card which made it easy to choose the Accented Blooms stamp set (page 19 Annual Catalogue) .  I’m loving the combination of Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo for the flowers.

I did some masking on the stamp itself so just those pretty blooms would show.  The matching Tailored Tag Punch works perfectly with this stamp set.

YOU’VE BEEN ON MY MIND

You’ve been on my mind!  Sometimes a thought turns into a lovely greeting card and that’s just what happened today!  The Beautifully Detailed Laser-cut Specialty Paper is the focal point for this greeting card.

Sometimes you don’t need a lot to create a beautiful card!  Just stamp a few butterflies and you’re off!  I used the Stamparatus for perfect placement of that greeting so I could play along with CAS(E) this sketch this week.

At first glance, I wasn’t sure about this sketch but I love how the card turned out!

LILIES FOR A DEAR FRIEND

I’ve been playing with the Lasting Lily photopolymer stamp set and the newly released Lily Framelits Dies.  So pretty!

There’s something else that’s new on this card – check out the background!  That is the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder that gives a beautiful impression loaded with flowers!

This is just one of the cards we will be creating at the Last Chance Sale-A-Bration class.  It starts of 7PM next Wednesday, March 20!  Are you signed up yet?  You won’t want to miss it so visit this Sign Up link to reserve your spot.

THOUGHTS OF YOU

Welcome and thank you for visiting today!  Do you scroll around through Pinterest for ideas?  I sometimes do and found a beautiful card that uses the Climbing Roses cling bundle. Well, I decided to re-create it myself and this is what I came up with.

I started off by using the Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers and an Aqua Painter to colour those beautiful roses.  I applied the colour with the markers and then used the Aqua Painter to spread and lighten it.  You can also pick up the colour from the marker tip and apply it that way.  Either method works very well.

The rest was putting together these lovely colours and adding a piece of the Grapefruit Grove Organdy Ribbon from the Combo Pack that’s in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.

Here’s the list of products used.

I hope that you are inspired to give this colouring method a try, it’s not as hard as it sounds.

Happy Stamping!
