HEARTS TO YOU

A big welcome to you!  Today is another card that give a great idea for your Valentine greeting with this Hearts to You card.

I was following along with the CAS(E) this sketch challenge,

and used the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder to get that embossed edge.  The Meant to Be bundle has a great framelit that give you a line-up of tiny hearts so I picked a few to add to edge.  (The Take Your Pick tool is great for picking up tiny pieces!)

INTRODUCING THE MEANT TO BE CLING BUNDLE

I couldn’t think of a better way to end the week than with this pretty card created with the Meant to Be Cling Bundle.  Valentine’s day is just around the corner after all!

The Lace Dynamic embossing folder makes a great background to highlight that lovely heart!  It was heat embossed with Gold Emboss powder and then cut out with the matching Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  (Buy the bundle and save 10%)  So pretty!

THE ANIMAL OUTING BUNDLE IS JUST SO DARN CUTE

Today’s card shows off the very cute Animal Outing Bundle (available in clear mount and wood mount) and matching designer paper.  I giggled the whole time while creating this card!

We have two giraffes standing together here, awwww!  I cut out the bottom image from the Animal Expedition designer series paper, covered it with a piece of Window Sheet and then cut a scalloped frame.  The Layering Squares framelits dies are great for this.  Of course the frame is a rectangle so I used the Paper Snips to cut it to size.

Then the Leaf Ribbon came into play….when using this ribbon, the Mini Glue Dots are your best friend!

Here’s the full list of everything that I used.

LOVE FROM THE PANDA

There’s more to the Party Panda stamp set than balloons!  How about a little love note.

Isn’t that just too cute?  The Paper Players posted a valentine theme and since the Party Panda set was still on my table – well, there you go!  Also, that set is the challenge for What Will You Stamp this week.  So I’m playing along with that challenge as well.

If you haven’t seen this oh-so-cute stamp set yet, here is the challenge photo.  It’s just one of the Free selections from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue with a qualifying purchase!

If you look very closely at the photo, you will see that I used the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder(page 5 of the Occasions Catalogue) for a little background interest.

And, here is the full list of products that I used.  Note – the Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Marker from the Brights collection was used to colour in that tiny heart.

A VALENTINE OF A DIFFERENT SORT

Hi and check out today’s Valentine of a different sort!

This is an alternate version from this card that I posted the other day.  I love the eyeglasses and bow ties adorning those hearts and, of course this is made especially for the men!

I used the Everyday Label Punch for the greeting.  Yes, it was in the Holiday catalogue but is still available and you can find it Here in my Store.

Here is the list of all of the products that I used.

VALENTINE BE MINE

Here’s another Valentine idea for you today.  This one is pretty simple and uses the Heart Happiness and Bloomin’ Love stamp sets one more time.

The Paper Players posted this simple and timeless layout that is perfect for any card and any occasion.  You could even use it as the foundation for a lovely scrapbook page!

I did some quick colouring with our Stampin’ Write Markers on the heart and added that lovely sentiment from the Bloomin’ Love set.

PRETTY HEARTS ALL IN A ROW

The big “Heart” day is coming soon so I’m working on some ideas for my upcoming Hearts and Celebrations class.  Today’s card is simple but packs a message!

I’m thinking that one could go the traditional route and re-create this one in blue for the men.  What do you think?

I followed along with the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge

and that is why these hearts are lined up the way they are.  There’s nothing like some great designer paper(Painted with Love Specialty) to add some interest as well.

If you’re looking to create your own Valentine cards, I invite you to sign up for the Feb. 6, 2018 card class.  You will be able to make 4 cards that perfectly send your love to those special people in your life!

MANLY HEARTS

Today’s card is a tribute to the men in our life with some “manly” hearts done up in Powder Pink.  That’s cool – right?

And….there’s a couple of blue hearts there too!  I started off with the great sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and went from there.  Using the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer paper with a light blue touch adds that traditional masculine feel.

Here’s the sketch that I started with in case you’d like to use it yourself.

Here’s everything I used for today’s card.  Just click on the picture to go to my store if you find that you need anything.

I’m adding today’s card to the Feb 6th class line-up so make sure that you are Signed up to join in.

A LITTLE LOVE

Hi there.  Today’s card shows a little trellised love with some watercolour wash.

Isn’t it pretty!  I used an Aqua Painter and Calypso Coral ink to was the colour onto the panel and then, for a little more interest, cut it out with the trellis die from Eclectic Layers Thinlits dies.  All it needed then was a few tiny hearts and that simple sentiment from the Party Pandas stamp set.  Of course, a few strategically place pearls don’t hurt either!

The inspiration for this card came from The Paper Players challenge to create a love note.  Ok, it’s not really clean and simple, but it is a pretty love note!

Here’s the full list of products that I used.
