Category: New Year Card

This past year has been, well, it’s been but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a brighter New Year in 2021!

So why not go with some bright and cheery glimmer paper for a new year greeting card!

This was fun to create and put together!  I used Silver Emboss powder for the glasses and added the words from the Word Wishes Dies(149629).

Here’s the list of products used.

All good wishes for a great 2021 – the sky is the limit!

Tonight we usher in the year 2020 – a brand new decade of possibilities!

What better way to say Happy New Year than with this soft and pretty card.  It was created with the new Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp using the Silvery Shimmer Delicata Metallic ink!  I added interest by stamping a couple more images and then cutting out the flower to layer.  The silver strips add an extra bit of interest as well.

Here’s a side view of that popped-up flower.

I used the layout posted by CAS(E) this sketch and had a lot of fun with it as you can see.

A very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year to you!

New Year’s Eve is right around the corner – are you going out to celebrate?  If you are you might like to take a card like this to your host.

It’s pretty simple and was created using the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Amazing You and matching Celebrate You Thinlits(also a Free Sale-A-Bration item).  The Iridescent Sequins are meant to show bubbles or maybe some confetti:)

I followed along with the simple sketch layout from Freshly Made Sketches for this which made the choice of stamp set much easier.

Here’s a list of everything I used so you can add some of these to your New Year shopping list.

Happy Stamping!

It’s all in the stars – Christmas is just around the corner and the new year celebrations as well!  Today’s card is a combination of stars and bells to celebrate that happy occasion.

I used the Seasonal Bells clear-mount Bundle to create this cheerful card and one of the great designs from the Warmth & Cheer Designer series paper stack.  Do you have the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set?  Don’t forget about it because it has all the greetings you need for any occasion!

The sketch from Create with Connie & Mary inspired this card.  It is a simple layout that you can use for just about anything!

TIP:  When you are heat embossing on Vellum, it is important to use the Embossing Buddy first so your embossing powder will stay where you want it!

Do you see something new on this card?  I’m giving you a sneak peak of some new ribbon that is coming your way in the Occasions 2017 Catalogue.  It will be available for you on January 4, 2017!

Here’s the list of products that I used for you.  If you need anything, just click on the picture and it will take you directly to my Online Store.

Thanks so much for visiting and Happy Stamping to you!

Since I received my pre-order for the Occasions 2017 catalogue I’ve been thinking that balloons are a great way to add a little celebratory flair to an event.

Here’s a card that I used shiny balloons on that could be used as a New Year’s greeting.

Now these balloons are not part of the new stuff I got but you can find the stamp set on page 18 of the “big” catalogue.

I placed everything on this card according to the Freshly Made Sketches sketch 267.

The offside piece was perfect so I could hide the blank space left by the Confetti Textured Embossing Folder.  The texture on the balloons is curtesy of the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  I think that it’s a pretty cool card but I would like you to let me know what you think!  Leave a comment below.

Here’s the list of everything I used for you.

Happy Stamping!

Are you ready for 2016?  It’s only 2 days away – how are you going to celebrate the New Year?

Since I’ve been in creating mode(lol, when aren’t I?) I decided to create another New Year greeting card.

Jumbled New Year -

Create with Connie and Mary posted a colour challenge that highlights Basic Black(done), Whisper White(done) and Gold(done).  Also Case this Sketch posted a great sketch that I followed along with too.  That’s why the letters and numbers are jumbled.  Can you read the greeting??

Want to take a look at this week’s great WEEKLY DEALS?  Here they are for you – I love it when a great punch is included!
