Hi and welcome! Today’s poppy card comes from a stamping tutorial from Andrea Walford.
I was so very taken with the card that Andrea did and the technique that I just had to try it for myself. Since I don’t have the Field of Flowers stamp set, I used Painted Poppies(151599) with a little help from Grace’s Garden and Itty Bitty Greetings.
The background mat was coloured with Pool Party ink and a Sponge Brayer to give the ombre effect and then embossed with the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder.
The main image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I played around with the White Craft ink for the “a little hello” greeting. It is there just very light which means that I have to add more ink to the pad next time!
Here’s the list of products used.
