ONE SEASONAL TREE

Hi and welcome!  Today’s card uses the Curvy Dies to create a lovely edge for this one seasonal tree!

A note about the Curvy Dies- they will be available to you in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue.  But as a Demonstrator, I was able to get them early.  They cut beautifully and are the perfect tool to fancy-up edges!

I found a card like this on Pinterest and just had to do one for myself!

I’m going to be sending this card to a Canadian Armed Forces member.  So many of them are overseas and not able to be with their families for Christmas.  So I hope that it brightens their Christmas just a little bit.

Happy Stamping!

THE SPIRIT OF PEACE

OK, back to Christmas cards – this one uses the beautiful greeting from Peaceful Boughs stamp set(150541) and a touch of snow from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set(153444).

I think that lovely sentiment deserves to be front and centre, don’t you?  Then all it needed was a few snowflakes for framing.

The layout for this card comes from the new Freshly Made Sketches challenge which is perfect for adding those pieces from the Feels Like Frost designer paper pack!

HAPPY GIFT MICE

The Warm & Toasty stamp set(152615) just makes me smile, especially these two cute little mice!

They are fun to colour too!  I used a selection of our Stampin’ Blends to give them life:)

I am giving Gift Cards this year so needed a new idea for gift card holders and found this one on Patty Bennett’s blog.  It easy and can be adapted for any occasion!

This is what the card looks like when open!

I have a few more to do so here is the product list for you.

A LITTLE DIE-CUTTING GOES A LONG WAY

Hello to you!  I chose to do some die-cutting on today’s card that features the Snow Globe Scenes dies(150655) and a couple others!

Those die-cut animals keep with the theme in the Toile Christmas designer paper for sure!  I cut out the squares in Just Jade and then tucked them into the Greenery Embossing Folder(152716) to add some texture.  Then decided that I needed some Shaded Spruce pine boughs so brought out the Beautiful Boughs dies for that job!

The greeting was “masked” to fit on that one smaller square and relays the sentiment of the season perfectly!

This whole layout was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge for this week.

AND A MERRY MOOSE WALKED BY

I thought it was time to use the returning Merry Moose Bundle for today!  This was a favourite from last year and he needed to make an appearance this year too!

And, there he is, just casually walking through the forest of pine trees!  Take a look at that tiny, tiny ornament – yup, I cut that little thing out by hand!  The greeting just needed a little something, so there it is!

I followed along with the sketch posted by TGIF Challenge

So used a piece from the “Tis the Season designer paper pack(153489).  That red plaid just seemed fitting, don’t you agree?

SEASON’S GREETINGS IN THE PINES

Welcome, and season’s greetings!  Today’s card is a CASE(Copy and share everything) from Pinterest.

I love the combination of Shaded Spruce taken from the “Tis the Season Designer paper!  The pops of white sure help too!  I didn’t get the Evergreen Forest embossing folder(153576) so substituted the Wood land embosssing folder for the touch of texture on the card front.

The extra help came from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set and matching Beautiful Boughs dies.  I love this card – many thanks to Karen Ksenzakovic for sharing it on Pinterest!

WARM WISHES FROM THE BEAR

Well, since it’s so cold outside, i couldn’t help but pull out the Warm & Toasty stamp set(152615) for today’s card!  That little polar bear was the perfect image to share warm wishes!

I stamped the bear image onto a piece of vellum cardstock and then backed it with a silver piece from the Feels Like Frost specialty DSP(150444) to create the “ornament”.

The Paper Players posted a Colour Challenge of Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Whisper White plus Silver or Gold,

so I heat embossed that little cutie with Silver Emboss Powder.

The other colours are shown in the “Tis the Season Designer Paper and Real Red Twine.

IN THE PEACEFUL NIGHT

Hi, my weekend was anything but peaceful but I have to say I enjoyed every minute!  So sorry to have missed posting for yesterday but I think today’s card might make up for it!

I had previously stamped a “forest” of trees from the Peaceful Pines Bundle, so used a couple for this peaceful night card!  I’m loving the Joy Dies(153530) and made good use of the mat die for this peaceful scene!

The layout was provided by the crew at the FabFriday blog which made it easy to show off a couple of designs from the Snowflake Splendor designer paper!  Here’s their sketch.

And, here’s the product list for you.

CHRISTMAS IN THE PINES

What could be more country Christmas then a home surrounded by pine trees?  I had fun playing with the In The Pines Bundle(155182) for today’s card!

Just Jade was the colour of choice for this and I think it looks great paired up with the Snowflake Splendor designer paper!

It needed a little bit of Christmas red so I “borrowed” the greeting and label from the Toile Christmas stamp set and matching dies!  TIP:  If you want to add a mat to the label, just trace around the outside of the die and cut it out!

If you look really closely, you will see the Snowflake Sequins falling gently on those Pine trees!

PEACE TO YOU

There’s no stamping on this Peace card today, just some die-cutting and beautiful designer paper to deliver a lovely Christmas wish!

This designer paper, Feels like Frost specialty(150444) has some truly beautiful designs and is sometimes all you need to create a beautiful card!  I’m really glad that Stampin’ Up! brought it back.

This whole layout fits in well with the new CAS(E) this sketch layout too!
