MY FRIENDLY VALENTINE

January has been speeding by and it’s time to get serious about Valentine cards!  Today’s card uses an “old” stamp set, Meant to Be and some “new” designer paper and a heart doily(151191) from the Occasions catalogue.

The Meant To Be stamp set has matching Stitched Be Mine dies and I used them to add a little “wow” for the background.  I love the pops of red and that sentiment is perfect!

This whole card was created by following along with the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge for this week.

Here’s the list of products used.

GREETING FOR CHRISTMAS

Let’s start the week off with a bough-filled Christmas card!  I was playing around with the Peaceful Boughs Bundle again and came up with this great greeting card!

The dies are great to use so putting together these acorns and branches was a lot of fun.

I also used the “masking” technique to get just one part of the greeting so the Christmas die-cut could take centre stage.  The Real Red Rouched ribbon is fabulous and added just the right touch to this card.

Check out the list of products used below.

HUMMING ALONG FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU

Wow, what a cold and snowy weekend we had!  So, while I was tucked away in my stamp room I went to the Humming Along Cling stamp set to put a little spring warmth in my day!

This card is one of the pretties we’ll be creating at this Wednesday’s class!  So simple but packing a Wow with the Blueberry Bushel coloured Humming bird!

I am playing along last minute with the new Freshly Made Sketches layout and used the Envelope Punch Board to round those corners on the background designer paper!

Here’s the full list of “ingredients” used to create this little pretty!

A WARM CUP OF TEA

Hi and welcome!  I’m starting the week off with a warm cup of tea that uses the Tea Together Cling stamp set and the matching Tea Time Framelits dies.

You will find the Tea Together cling stamp set in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue and the Tea Time Framelits dies are a FREE choice in the 2019 Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.

The background was created by using the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on Vellum.  It’s soooo pretty.

I followed along with the new CAS(E) this sketch challenge to show off that lovely tea cup and beautiful rose.

The tea cup and flowers were first heat embossed with Gold Emboss powder and then the rose was coloured with the Calypso Coral and Old Olive Watercolour pencils.

TIP:  I wanted the embossed vellum piece to stay firmly on the card front so used a Stampin’ Sponge and our Liquid Multipurpose glue.  Just squeeze some of the glue onto the Silicone Craft Sheet and use the piece of sponge to lightly spread the glue onto the back of the vellum.  This way, the glue won’t show and the vellum piece will be firmly attached!

Here’s the full list or products that I used.

MOVING FROM FALL TO CHRISTMAS

Hi and welcome to today’s move from fall to Christmas.  Yes, it is coming quickly so I’ve been busy building up my card stash!

We will be creating this card at my line-up of card classes, so make sure that you visit my Class Calendar to sign-up!

I am also playing along with the new CAS(E) this sketch challenge and that is why I kept this card simple.

It was a great way to use the Merry Christmas Thinlits dies too.  I couldn’t just leave it with the greeting so used that small spray of holly and berries to touch it up a little.

Here’s the list of products that I used.

ENDING THE WEEK WITH A GRATEFUL HEART

Hi there and welcome!  I’m ending the week with a great fall-themed card and a grateful heart with this card.

It was created with the “coming soon” stamp set called Falling for Leaves and the matching Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies.  You can get these products as a bundle so it’s a great money saver as well.

I used the Nature’s Poem Designer Series paper for the background and other details which gave the perfect colour palette to use.

This is one of the cards we will be creating in my upcoming classes so make sure to check out my Class Calendar and sign up!

I’m pretty happy with the way this pretty fall-themed card turned out and here’s the list of other products that I used.

BLOOMING HAPPINESS WITH STAMPIN’ UP!

Hello and welcome to Cynthia’s Creative Corner!  I have been playing with the Oh So Eclectic stamp set and a little piece of the oh so beautiful Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper!  This is what I came up with!

Aren’t those flowers pretty?  As I said yesterday, I’m really liking the new InColour, Pineapple Punch – it’s such a rich and lovely yellow!

The layout for this card came from The Paper Players sketch

which made it easy to show off that paper and those pretty flowers!  The greeting is compliments of the new Varied Vases stamp set!

Here’s the full list of products for you.

Tomorrow is the BIG Day!  The new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue goes live just after Noon.  Are you ready?  I sure am and have some Classes scheduled for June so we can play around with some of the beautiful new stamp sets and accessories!  Make sure to check it out at This Link!

A LITTLE LOVE CARD

Hi, today’s card is rich with love, die cuts, and the beautiful Berry Burst cardstock!

I recently purchased the Flourishing Phrases stamp set because I love those flourishes of flowers and leaves.  So, I used Versamark and Clear Emboss powder to make them stand out on the background!  Then all it took was some die cutting with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies and we have a great card for an anniversary or a wedding, or a just because I love you!

Here’s the list of goodies that I used.

THIS HAPPY BEAR SAYS THANK YOU

Hi and welcome to Monday.  I’m bringing you a happy little panda with a simple but heartfelt greeting.

Isn’t he a cutie pie?  I’ve been creating thank you cards – you can never have enough and this little balloon-flying panda sends the message perfectly!

I started with this simple sketch from CAS(E) this sketch and as you can see, there’s lots of room for interpretation.

The product list is short for this card….

I’m not finished with thank you cards yet, so stay tuned for more.

If you like to stamp together with friends, consider coming out to my place this Saturday, March 17th for a day of stamping and creating.  We have 8 cards on the menu and I ask that you bring along an appy to share as well.  The cost and more details are HERE on my Class Calendar.

Happy Stamping!

THIS ONE IS GOLDEN

I haven’t used the Sale-A-Bration set, Beautiful Peacock for a while, so today is the day!  It’s just so darn pretty done up in Gold Emboss powder!

I think that adding the Lemon Lime Twist adds to its golden prettiness, don’t you?  I also used a Sponge Dauber to add a little Daffodil Delight ink to the stamp to add a little extra to the tail feathers.

This one follows along with The Paper Players sketch and it was natural to pull a pattern from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I think this pattern blends in nicely with the tail feathers of the Peacock.

Here’s the full list of products that I used.

Don’t forget to check out my Class Calendar for upcoming classes.  I’d love for you to join in on the stamping fun!
