THE PINES

I’m adding one more Christmas card to my pile today!  This one uses the In The Pines stamp set(153448) framed in garden green.

Since these are a two-step stamping collection, I took advantage and used both Garden Green and Pretty Peacock ink to fill in that lovely grove of trees.  If you look really closely, you will see some tiny snowflakes falling gently on the trees.

I was inspired to use this layout from the new Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

My panel doesn’t have as many sections, but I really like the way it turned out!

FLOWERS TO BRIGHTEN THE DAY

Hi.  I’m playing with the Ornate Style Bundle again!  Who doesn’t need some cheerful flowers to brighten the day!

I found this layout on page 67 of the Annual Catalogue and CASED it!  The change is the designer paper background from the Flowers for Every Season pack(152486).

Since the Ornate Style stamp set doesn’t have greetings, I called on the Many Mates stamp set for the happy thanks! What a lovely, cheerful card to send to brighten someone’s day!

NEW TO ME

Hello and welcome to a brand new week!  Today, I’m introducing a “new to me” bundle that I just had to add to my collection!  These lovely flowers are appropriate for any season, don’t you think?

The bundle is called Ornate Style(154119) and the dies are really, really beautiful!  Take a look….

…I love this picture that shows how each die will look when it’s cut out!

Now, you may not recognize the sentiment and that’s because it’s in a stamp set bundle(Quite Curvy) that will be available to you in November.  I loved the message in this particular greeting and had to add it to the card!

COLD MOMENTS – WARM HEART

Hello there and welcome!  We’ve been experiencing colder temperatures here so that inspired me to pull out the Snowflake Wishes Bundle(155172)!  Today’s card will be sending out warm wishes from the heart!

I found out the hard way, lol that the beautiful label die in this bundle does not cut the label but cuts it out in the middle of your paper.  So, I trimmed it down and used it as a frame for that lovely warm greeting!  The Winter Snow Embossing Folder(153577) gives that lovely snowy texture which helps to enhance the greeting as well.

TODAY’S PLAN

Do you plan out your days on a regular basis?  I try to but sometimes one just has to stop and eat chocolate, lol!

I’ve been enjoying using the Plaid Tidings designer paper(153527) and love this colour with my chocolates!  The designer paper is part of the Sale going on for the month of October and you can pick it up for 15% off right now!

I had a little fun with heat embossing for the chocolates and used a piece of our Adhesive Sheets to make attaching the word so much easier.

Here is the list of products used.  Note: I did not list the punch I used for the sentiment as it is retired – my bad!

THE MOOSE IN FALL

Hi and welcome!  I’m back to fall for today’s card.  Our yard sees lots of visits from deer and moose, so I pulled out the returning favourite, Merry Moose Bundle(153015)!

This is a “2-step” stamp so it’s easy to get the details for the moose image!  Use the Stamparatus(146276)* for easy placement of the 2 colours!

I wanted this guy/girl to be surrounded by trees and leaves so add the piece of designer paper from the Gilded Autumn package. And, a little embossing with the Woodland Embossing folder for the background.

There, The Paper Players theme challenge achieved!

A BEVY OF WINTER TULIPS

Ok, I know that tulips don’t bloom up here right now, but don’t we all need a pretty blast of summer colours right now?

There they are!  I used the Timeless Tulips Bundle to create this bevy of blooms and a “few” of the inks from the Brights Colour Collection!  The matching punch in this bundle made it super easy to build this bouquet!  I also used a piece of designer paper from the Playing with Patterns collection(152490) which is 15% off right now!

Where did I get this ideas for summer colours?  From the new challenge from SUO Challenges(Stampin’ Up Only).

I took on the challenge of using every one of these beautiful colours so my tulip garden would shine!

IT TAKES A VILLAGE

It took a village – of 3 stamp sets, lol to create today’s card.  And… a little water colouring too!

There’s nothing like a bright, pretty card to put a smile on one’s face!  I took the combination of colours from a stamping group that I follow on Facebook and went to work.  Those pretty blue flowers are from the Forever Blossoms stamp set(151457) and the matching Cherry Blossom dies(151456).

They were first stamped with Pacific Point ink and then I took a Water Painter and pulled the colour into the middle of each flower. TIP:  It’s best to use Shimmery White cardstock as it doesn’t pill.

Then, out came the Forever Fern Bundle(154094) stamped with Shaded Spruce and Crushed Curry Ink.  Next, for the sentiment, Many Mates stamp set(152633).

STILL SCENES AND SNOWFLAKES

The weather is chilly here so I played with some snowflakes and the Still Scenes stamp set(150503) and matching Snow Globe Scenes dies(150655).

Did you notice the background papers?  They are a returning favourite from last year, Feels Like Frost Specialty designer paper(150444).  This paper is the reason for the sentiment in the globe!

I’m playing along with the new CAS(E) this sketch layout but changed the placement of the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes bundle.

A trio of snowflakes done in Silver Emboss powder adds the final touch.

YOU MEAN SO MUCH

Hi and welcome, your visits to my blog mean a lot and I thank you.  Today’s card is a pretty tribute to my visiters.

This card has several different colours to it and was a bit of a challenge as I don’t usually use these particular colours together.  I chose to use the Forever Blossoms stamp set(151457) and stamped that lovely spray in Bumblebee.  There is a very light wash of Seaside Spray on the background and I used our new Water Painters(151298) to apply the colour.

This idea came from the FabFri Colour Challenge.
