SINGING IN THE RAIN

Well, it’s not raining up here but I am trying to sing a happy song after being sick with a very nasty cold virus this past week!  That sucker “is a mean one, Mr. Grinch!”

I did find time thought to make this simple card that uses of piece of the Pleased As Punch designer series paper(153558).  There are some very pretty images in this package that coordinate really well with the Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Mini Catalogue items.

The Masking Technique helped with the greeting and was fun to put together!

BIRTHDAY BALLOONS FOR YOU

If it’s your birthday – have a happy one and enjoy some balloons too!

I received my order with the Special Day dies(153587) and used them right away for this card.  These dies work perfectly with the Special Someone stamp set(151643) and enable you to create several different scenes with the cute critters in the stamp set!

You could change up the theme of this card for Valentines day just by changing the sentiment.

IT’S AN ADVENTURE

Life is an adventure and especially so when riding in an ATV!  Today’s card was created with the Pedal to the Metal cling stamp set and there’s several great images to colour for the adventure lover in your life!

I followed along with this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and wanted the ATV to stand out, so why not red!  It’s an adventure after all!

I really wanted to use a piece of the whisper white flax ribbon but it needed to blend in with the colours.  So, I used the Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blend to colour it.

Here’s the list of products used.  If you haven’t checked out the Pedal to the Metal stamp set, just click on the picture to go directly to my Website.

SENSATIONAL YOU

Today’s card features the Sending You Thoughts Sale-A-Bration stamp set for a sensational you card.

I love all of the sentiments in this stamp set and did a little fancy masking to get the sentiment just the way I wanted it!  This card is filled with love and that is why I’m posting on The Paper Players “Love is in the Air” challenge.

The “another year of sensational you” is all one stamp, so I used scotch tape to mask off the words to make it easier to separate them for the card layout.  If you try this, make certain to clean the stamp after every use!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DIFFERENCE

Today’s card features a beautiful greeting from the Timeless Tulips stamp set and some soft and lovely flowers.

I love that greeting, it is perfect for an upcoming birthday!  I had previously stamped the flower spray and pulled it out of my UFP tray (unfinished projects) for this card.

It works perfectly with the new CAS(E) this sketch layout.

I chose the softness of So Saffron for the flowers with a little touch of Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.  They make a good contrast to the background designer paper from the Perennial Essence pack!

PAINTED POPPIES REMEMBER THE MOMENTS

Hi there – I’m starting a new week off with the Painted Poppies bundle.  It’s just such a lovely bundle and tends to brighten up a winter-y day!

This card could be used for a wedding or anniversary greeting.  I was easy to create.  I love the Poppy Parade colour and it looks great with a little Old Olive thrown in!

Here’s the list of products used.  Make sure to check out all of the beautiful piece of the Peaceful Poppies Suite, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be using this suite in upcoming classes.

POPPIES ARE HAPPINESS

Happy Friday to you!  I thought it appropriate to end the week with some happy poppies.

If you haven’t checked out the Painted Poppies Suite you really should.  I used most of the products in it except for the ribbon and sequins on this card and the Poppy Elements make it easy to add some pop!

This is a 5″ x 5″ card that I created for the new Freshly Made Sketches layout.

WELL, HELLO HONEY

Honey is the key for today’s card.  And bees, a busy hive of honey bees!

The Honey Bee bundle(153792) is so sweet(pun intended) and so much fun to create with!  Especially when you add the Golden Honey specialty designer paper!  You can see it peeking through the honeycombs and it is a Free choice from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue – a win-win for the bees!

Where did I get the idea for this card?  From The Paper Players sketch of course.

Here’s the list of products used.  And if you would like, purchase the Honey Bee bundle and then choose the Golden Honey designer paper to complete your bee hive.

TULIPS MAKE ME HAPPY

Tulips, in my opinion, are one of the happiest flowers because they announce spring!  Spring is a couple of months away for us so I started my own happy arrival of spring with this card!

This was created with the Timeless Tulips Bundle(153793) and the “coming to you soon” Pleased As Punch designer paper!  Each strip was cut to 1/4″ wide and glued down with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Once they were all in place, I used Paper Snips to trim the ends.

This card also uses the new CAS(E) this sketch layout(you might remember yesterday’s card here).

Here’s the short list of products used.
