BY THE BAY

Good day and welcome.  I thought that today would be a good day to feature one image from the By The Bay Cling stamp set.  (It’s one of the Free choices in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue)

I love the image of the gulls on the beach!  This started with a piece of Shimmery White cardstock, an Aqua Painter and some Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake ink.  I used the Aqua Painter to apply the Balmy Blue water and then Crumb Cake for the sand.  Then all I had to do was stamp the “colony” of gulls image.

Then I decided that the greeting strip needed a little extra so used a piece of Nature’s Twine and frayed the end a little.  I like the simplicity of this and feel that this card would be a good one to send to a male friend.
