Welcome to the Friday 10-minute challenge with the Stampaholics! Todays challenge was provided by me. I found this picture in the July 2010 issue of Canadian Living Magazine and felt that it was “just right”. I also needed a card sketch so used Mary Jo’s Technostamper sketch #136 for help.
I also knew exactly what stamp set I was going to use and that I would go well beyond 10 minutes for this challenge. But, the cat in the lawn chair just belongs in this garden so that is that!
I used a blender pen and classic ink pads to colour the image on watercolor paper and then, using a sponge dauber, added Certainly Celery to the edges. A little action with the Scallop Edge Border punch, the Big Shot, and we’re done. All in 19 minutes and 51 seconds!
Fabulous job my friend YOU are amazing
I love your card and you so sweet!
Morning Cynthia. Thank you so much for such a great inspirational photo for today’s challenge I really enjoyed it. I also just enjoyed looking at your beautiful card, you are so right, that garden needs that chair, tee hee..
I loved your photo to Cynthia and might use it again! Love your card. Gorgeous stamp set!
Definitely worth the extra time, I agree that chair and kitty belong in the garden. Great card, thanks so much for using my sketch challenge this week!
