Good Morning and it’s Saturday already. Wow, this week went by quickly! It was a busy week and that is a good thing.
I checked out the Create with Connie and Mary challenge for this week and was Wow’d by the Color Challenge they have. We are to use Elegant Eggplant, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquiose and Old Olive.
I decided that it was about time that I made a card for Halloween and this colour combo would work perfectly. It was another challenge as I don’t have any Halloween images, so had to do some serious planning to come up with this card.
The Newsprint Designer Series paper seemed to work with these colours and I pulled the small pumpkin stamp from Loads of Love Accessories to help with the theme. They were placed on the Very Vanilla cardstock using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. The numbers were die cut using the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Medium Sizzlets and the sentiment comes from All Holidays.
The sentiment was stamped in different colours with the help of the Stamp-a-ma-jig as well. I think it adds an eerie touch.
