Good Morning friends. Ok, enough of the snow already! You know, this is the time of year when the bears begin to come out of their dens to forage for food. They’re hungry after all and are looking for fresh green grass, berries and sprigs of green to eat. This bear has come out and is wondering; “What the heck?” He’s a hungry bear and his fresh food is covered up with snow!
This is a very simple card. I used Certainly Celery cardstock, tore the edge and layered it with Vellum to give the idea of snow-covered grass. A little Dazzling Diamonds glitter shows the sparkle of sunlight on the snow. (I hope).
The bear was stamped with Basic Black Craft Ink, sprinkled with Black embossing powder and heat set. He was then watercoloured with classic ink pads and the Aqua painter.
Recipe:
Stamps: Under the Stars, Lovely As A Tree
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Certainly Celery, Vellum, Whisper White
Inks: Basic Black Craft, Basic Black Classic
Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Versamark Pen, Black Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Tearing Edge, Aqua Painter
I hope you get a giggle from this card and don’t worry, Spring is out there – it’s just been delayed a little.
Cheers;
