This card is in the mail to a great friend of mine (Hi Carol). I really like this image from the Because I Care hostess set and made it the focal point on the card. Carol is a great gardener and has some of these wonderful hydrangea’s growing in her garden.
I started with a base of Crumb Cake, tucked it into the Square Lattice Embossing folder and ran it through the Big Shot. The Woodland Walk Designer Series paper added a nice touch as well. The hydrangea image was coloured with the “direct to stamp” image with my Stampin’write markers. This was then stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. I cleaned the stamp and then inked it up with Versamark and over-stamped the image using the very handy Stamp-a-ma-jig. Then, Clear Embossing Powder was sprinkled over it and heat set with the Heat Tool. The 3/16″ Corner Rounder Punch was used to round the opposing corners. I then mounted this on a piece of Wild Wasabi after using the Corner Rounder punch on it as well.
