Good Morning and welcome. Today I am playing along with a color challenge from Late Night Stampers. We’re to use So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Certainly Celery and Early Espresso on our creation. Hmmm, what to do? Babies! Yes, these would be great colors for a baby card…………..so………………..
Here it is!
I pulled out my package of Nursery Suite Specialty Designer Paper and the stamp set, Baby Bundle for this one. The greeting is from Sweetness Unlimited(123877) which is a FREE choice from Sale-A-Bration.
The choice of paper patterns in Nursery Suite is delightful, it was a difficult choice but I decided to go with the herringbone pattern. There are so many cute images in the Baby Bundle stamp set and I couldn’t decide on just one, so made a small collage.
These cute little images were first stamped on whisper white with Early Espresso classic ink and then colored with Stampin’ Write Markers. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement of the greeting and added the flower brad to finish it off. It was then cut out with the 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle punch and layered on a piece of Certainly Celery cut with the 2-1/2″ Circle punch.
There you have it, a really cute and simple baby welcome card!
