Good Morning and welcome. Today’s post is featuring two projects that we made at my recent 3D class. These are two of the projects that Connie and Leticia made. The trees were made using the Deck the Halls Designer Fabric(121716) and 5/8″ Real Red Grosgrain ribbon(109052). We used lots and lots of pins to put these cute trees together!
The fabric was cut in 1″ strips and pleated around the cones. The bows were tied using Lee Conrey’s wonderful Magic Bow Maker. You can purchase the Styrofoam cones at any Dollar or Craft store and then let your imagination run free!
The candle holders were made with aluminum sheeting from our local hardware store and cut with the Snowflake #2 Die(113460) and the Big Shot(113439). I followed the tutorial done by Monica Weaver to put these lovely holders together. You can use either a “real” tealight candle or a Flameless Tealight.
We had a lot of fun with these and my thanks to Connie and Leticia for joining me!
I would also like to send out a great big Thank You to all of you of visit my blog. Your comments and visits inspire and delight me!
Have yourselves a wonderful day and come on back tomorrow for a look at what the Stamp-a-holics have in store for this week’s challenge.
Cheers;
