DAPPER DAFFODILS

Here’s another call for spring to arrive with this pretty bunch of dapper daffodils!  Daffodils are the true flower of spring I think, well, next to crocuses, so I coloured this bundle!

Our Stampin’ Blends were the perfect fit and it was easy to add a little shading in the right spots with them.  I started out with the darker colour and then added the lighter colour to smooth out the shading.

Then, I wanted to cut them all out as one bunch so used a small utility knife to slice between the stems and finished off with our perfectly sharp Paper Snips.  The whole bunch was then adhered to the mat using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  Note:  Before I adhered the daffodil bunch, I stamped the image with our Smokey Slate ink to show a bit of a shadow.
