I have the best grandkids ever! They are so much fun to be around and our conversations can be very interesting! Since our youngest granddaughter is turning 9 I decided to go all out with stars and stripes for her birthday card.
These are also two of her favourite colours so a win-win for both of us, lol. And that extraordinary greeting comes from the A Grand Kid(152500) stamp set. It has the most perfect sentiments for grandparents!
I first drew lines on the card using a ruler and Stampin’ Up! Grid Paper. Then it was just a matter of using the scoring tool on the Paper trimmer to add those stripes. It took a bit of time but was worth it to get that very cool finish.
This card also falls in line with the new Theme Challenge from The Paper Players this week.
