Wednesday Greetings to you.
I am thrilled to be invited to be a Guest Designer for the Stampin Royalty challenge this week! It is called “Stitching Madness”. You can use “faux stitching” or real stitching. I experimented a bit and then decided that an old MOJO Monday sketch would be a perfect fit for Forest Friends(WM 113748). This is such a cute set and it needed a little love.
The leafy background was done with the large tree stamp from Pendant Park(WM115456). It was inked up with Pear Pizzazz classic ink and stamped on Pear Pizzazz cardstock for a tone-on-tone finish.
The owl and bunny were stamped with Soft Suede classic ink on Very Vanilla, punched out with the 1-1/4″ Square Punch. The Poppy Parade layers were punched out using the 1-3/8″ Square Punch.
I used the Paper-Piercing Tool(116631) and Mat Pack(105826) for even placement of the faux stitching. Some 1/2″ Stitched-Poly Poppy Parade ribbon (119263) and two Glimmer Brads(121005) from the In Color group finished the project.
Here’s the Recipe for you:

Cheers;
