Hi and welcome to my WORD Wednesday feature! Through the month of February, I am featuring stamp sets that start with each letter in the word “Hugs”. Today is “G” day and the stamp set of choice is “Gifts of Christmas”. This lovely set can be found on page 44 of the Idea Book.
You can highlight the one image in this set to create a simple and lovely wedding card.
I liked the dove image and colored it on the stamp with the Wisteria Wonder marker to stamp onto whisper white card stock. Then used the Versamarker directly on the image and stamped it again onto white vellum card stock. I added white emboss powder and heat set it. The two pieces were adhered together to create a shadow effect.
The Framelits Labels collection was used to create the opening in the top layer of wisteria wonder card stock and I prettied up the edge with the Adorning Accents Edgelits die and embossing folder. Next came the greeting with help from the “Loving Thoughts” stamp set. It was also inked up with the Versamarker and heat set with white emboss powder.
