Today is WORD Wednesday and I am featuring a NEW WORD for the next 5 weeks. I think it’s quite appropriate for the season – BEACH – is the word. He, he, I think it might be a favored destination for a lot of us!
So this week, we will start with a stamp set that starts with the letter “B”. The set I’ve chosen is available in the Summer Mini catalogue, “Best Dad Ever.”
I had fun with this one and used another brand new item from the Summer Mini, Wild Wasabi Stampin’ Emboss Powder!
I started with a card base of Crumb Cake, added a layer of Wild Wasabi and topped it off with a piece from the Woodland Walk Designer Paper pack.
The ties were stamped on Very Vanilla with Versamark (after rubbing the paper with the Embossing Buddy) and sprinkled with the Wild Wasabi Stampin’ Emboss powder. It was heat set and then mounted onto a piece of Crumb Cake and then a piece of Woodland Walk designer paper. I think the Gold Brads add just the right touch to those cute ties!
I used the Wild Wasabi Emboss powder on the sentiment as well and matted it using the Decorative Label punch. (YES, you can still order this punch – click here)
