LOL, that’s a title isn’t it? Well, I’ve been playing with a 3D idea and think that any nice witch would be happy to wear this cute hat!
I don’t do a lot of 3D items and when I found the tutorial for this hat on Splitcoast Stampers just had to give it a try. The top of the hat uses a styrofoam cone and I got to work with Howlstooth & Scaringbone designer paper to create this little cutie. Check out the large rosette on the hat brim! It was created using the Designer Rosette Bigz XL die(big catalogue page 194) and Jumbo Sticky Rounds from the Holiday Catalogue(page 31). Rosette’s are not my “thing” but with a lot of patience, a few descriptive words (LOL) and help from the Sticky Rounds, I got it done!
Of course, this display is going to sit on my dining room table so a candle was needed. I love the look and ambiance of candles, but not the open flame – my solution – battery operated!
Here’s a list of supplies in case you want to create one for yourself – it really is fun!
