Hello and welcome. Yes, a snowflake card – already! I like snowflakes though, as long as they are on a card or a stamping project! Up here in Northeast BC, we can usually count on snow for Halloween and, in the grand scheme of things, that’s not very far away!
I decided to go Clean & Simple with this card. Wild Wasabi is the base embossed with the new Northern Flurry Embossing Folder(Holiday Mini #120902) and my favourite work-horse – the Big Shot. The snowflakes come from the set, Serene Snowflakes(Idea Book #115438) and were first stamped on Whisper White with Wild Wasabi Classic Ink. I then dabbed some Frost White Shimmer Paint on the stamp and over-stamped the image.
Here’s a close-up for you:
The Stamp-a-ma-jig(101049) came in very handy for this! I also used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to place the greeting just where I wanted it. A couple of Rhinestone brads and we have a simple, but pretty card.
RECIPE: Stamp Set: Serene Snowflakes, Four the Holidays Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White Ink: Wild Wasabi Classic, Stazon Jet Black Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Clear Rhinestone Brads, Sponge Dauber, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Big Shot, Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, 1-3/4″ Circle Punch
