Happy Wednesday to you all and a great big welcome to the merry month of May. It’s time for a new WORD and I’m using a very familiar word – “STAMP”! Good one, isn’t it? I thought that this word was appropriate for saying a fond farewell to all the Retiring stamp sets. So, moving right along, today’s featured set starts with the letter “S” and is the retiring set “Sweetheart”!
Here’s what I came up with………
…so cute! I used the “masking” technique to place the leaf images to create my bouquet. Here’s some pictures to show you how.
First, stamp the image onto the top of a post-it note(you want the sticky part on the back of your image) and then cut it out.
Then you place that sticky piece just on top of the stamped image…..
….and stamp the next image so it overlaps. Then you’re ready to add the extra details.
I colored the bird direct to stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it 3 times and cut each one out to place strategically on the card. I like the way they look on the greeting.
So, as you can see, this stamp set isn’t just for Valentine’s!
