Good Friday morning to you! I hope your summer is fantastic so far with many happy days to look forward to yet!
This week the Stamp-a-holic’s are challenging us to create a card that shows what we are doing for our summer holidays. This is the inspiration picture to start with.
This is how I interpreted the challenge!
I choose to use the colors from the picture(Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi and Pool Party) and to feature the chair – to relax in, and the bowl of cherries – to munch on of course!
So I started with a card base of Wild Wasabi and layered a piece of Melon Mambo on it. The Melon Mambo card stock was embossed with the Big Shot and Square Lattice Embossing folder first.
I stamped the chair using Soft Suede Classic ink onto Whisper White and matted it with Pool Party. The bowl of cherries was stamped and then colored with Stampin’ Write Markers and popped up onto the chair with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
The ribbon was wrapped in 2 layers around the piece and the greeting was added using Mini Glue Dots.
