Hello and welcome to Tuesday. I’m still working with the cute “Bright Blossoms” set and having fun with it. This is a simple birthday card that also uses a really cute Hostess set called “Wacky Wishes” that has some great all occasion greetings in it.
How simple can a card get and still convey a sincere birthday wish! The card base is Tangerine Tango so I used the tulip image and stamp all over the card front using Tangerine Tango classic ink. Then added a 1-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ strip of Comfort Cafe designer paper matted onto a 1-7/8″ x 5-1/2″ strip of Midnight Muse.
I don’t have the Summer Starfruit ribbon yet, so dyed a length of 3/8″ Whisper White Taffeta for the bow. You can easily do this with a Stampin’ Write marker and wipe it down with a baby wipe to help blend the color.
The birthday greeting fit perfectly on the pretty label from the Apothecary Art Framelits collection and I stamped, cut out and added 3 tiny tulips as accents.
