Here we are on Tuesday and the first day of a brand new month. As promised yesterday, here is the second card that I created using the “Easy Events” set.
Our youngest daughter will be gifting us with a new grandchild at the end of June(or thereabouts) and this just may be the card I give her. If you look closely, you’ll see that I used a mat of Lucky Limeade for the designer paper – this is very close to the color of her new and bright and cheerful nursery.
I used the “masking technique” for this card as well so I could stamp just the little duck image and then the greeting separately. I also did some more coloring with markers for this and a little paper-piecing for the tiny umbrella. Doesn’t the designer paper look like bubbles? That’s another piece from the retiring Flirtatious Designer Paper package!
