Good Monday morning to you. Thanks so much for stopping by today. My apologies for the missing post on Saturday, things just happen, but here is another card created with the “Christmas Lodge” stamp set from the Holiday Mini catalogue, page 29.
Remember I said that there is a great fir tree image in it? Well here it is, heat embossed in Garden Green!
A great way to eliminate one step in heat embossing is to use Stampin’ Up’s Craft Ink and then dipping it in the embossing powder. I have a collection of Stampin’ Spots in craft ink which do the job nicely.
I added a very thin layer of the new Dazzling Details glitter glue under the tree for just the right amount of sparkle. It’s important to use just a very thin layer as it takes extra time to dry.
Don’t you just love the plaid background? It’s a sheet from the Frostwood Lodge Designer Series paper that’s in the Holiday Mini catalogue. I finished it off with a greeting from “Four the Holidays”.
