Good Morning and welcome.
The birds are arriving, another sure sign of the arrival of spring. The trees in our backyard seem to be much more full of song these days. I really like this image from the Eastern Influences set and brought it out for my “Ode to the Birds”. I used the card sketch from the March 5th Stamping 411 layout. The night of navy layer has the branch stamped with versamark to give a shadowy effect. The branch is stamped again on the shimmery white with versamark and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The birds are the focal point, so they were stamped first with Night of Navy classic ink and then, using the handy-dandy Stamp-a-ma-jig, were overstamped with versamark and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
The theme for this week’s challenge at Late Night Stampers is “Happy Birthday” so I added the greeting and a little bling for interest.
