Hi and thank you for visiting today. I’m a little late with this post but am happy to be able to show you this one red rose.
I had some fun colouring with our fabulous Stampin’ Up! blends and love the way this rose turned out. You are probably asking why it’s been cut into tiny squares – right? Well, Freshly Made Sketches posted this layout and so I challenged myself to play along.
It took some patience to get those tiny squares lined up but I’m sure happy with the result!
TIP: Start by placing the outside pieces and then add the others – it helps to make sure that they are all lined up as perfectly as possible.
The pearls were a necessary addition as far as I’m concerned and the Take Your Pick tool (144107) helped a lot with placement!
Here’s the list of products used in case you’d like to try it for yourself.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and are able to get a little stamping done!

Lovely and elegant! I agree with you, Cynthia, the pearls make the card; they are so so pretty really pop on the red rose. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
Thank you Lee Ann. I love the simplicity of just the one red rose.
This is beautiful, Cynthia! I’m so glad you played along with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Thanks so much Jacquie.
This is such a lovely use of the sketch – the rose is gorgeous and the tile look is a fabulous way of showing it off. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Thank you Kim.
