Good Morning and welcome to SALE-A-BRATION! Yes, today is the day that you can start receiving FREE products from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. All you have to do is purchase $60.00 in product from any current Stampin’ Up! catalogue – how easy is that!
Today I am featuring one of the stamp sets that can be yours, So Happy For You(SAB123220).
The layout on this card may look familiar, I used the same sketch as yesterday’s card and applied a different technique. This is called “Wet Paper Stamping” and it is meant to look that way – LOL.
There are two ways to do this method, you can stamp your image, using Classic ink, on Watercolor Paper and then lightly spray it with water OR you can lightly spray the paper first and then stamp your image. An Aqua Painter can also be used to wet the paper. I used the first method and stamped first. After the paper was dry, I then stamped over top of the images using the excellent help of the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. The stamp set used for these images is For Everything and can be found in the Idea Book and Catalogue on page 62.
The greeting was stamped on Very Vanilla with Stazon Jet Black and cut out with the Word Window Punch and then layered over a mat of Regal Rose cut with the Modern Label Punch. The adorable little bird was stamped on Very Vanilla with Stazon Jet Black and then colored using the Aqua Painter and ink pads. I cut this little cutie out with my Paper Snips and then added him with a Stampin Dimensional to the greeting.
