Hi there and welcome! Stampin’ Up! has some new card stock available in the Holiday Catalogue and I’ve been playing.
Today’s card uses the Core’dinations card stock in Early Espresso. It is pretty nice to play with because you can sand it to create an antiqued and distressed look to your projects.
I simply embossed it with the new Holiday Frame folder and sanded it to reveal the core of the card stock layer. Then, I found the idea to heat emboss with gold on Cindy’s blog, Pretty Impact just by dabbing versamark randomly. I also stamped and embossed the leaves from Lovely As a Tree onto Vellum card stock and cut them out. And, another rosette – made with Jumbo Sticky Rounds and Scalloped Tulle Ribbon. All in all, a pretty card with a definite antique feel to it.
