Honeycomb won’t you be my baby – remember that song? It’s an oldie but a goodie from waaaaay back!
I was humming that tune while creating this card.
I used a piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ card stock to emboss the honeycomb and then cut out a portion with paper snips to get that interesting shape. Then I embossed a scrap of the Retro Fresh Designer paper so I could cut out each piece to insert into random honeycomb shapes. I added some x-stitch using the Needlepoint Border Embossing folders to perfectly frame the centre piece. I think it adds just the right touch to this card. I turned it into a thank you card, but this would be a great masculine birthday card as well.
