On a recent road trip to Edmonton, I took note gardens of sunflowers along the way. They are such a bright and happy flower that I was inspired to create. As I don’t own the Sunflower background stamp, I took a little creative licence and used “Decorate A Daisy” instead.
This is a very “clean and simple” card but I think the flower and sentiment from “Petite Pairs” sends just the right message!
The combination of the 2-3/8″ and 1-3/4″ scallop circle punches helped to build the sunflower and, with a little imagination, the pennant image in the stamp set worked just fine for leaves! I built the center of the flower using Chocolate Chip card stock, the 1″ circle punch and the larger image from the Boho Blossom punch. (You might want to click on the image itself to see that).
