SWEETS ON MONDAY

Good Morning and welcome to a new week! The first ever SUDSOL blog tour was a great success and my sincerest Thank You to all who visited and left such inspiring comments. I read and appreciate every one!

I chose to highlight the new clear-mount stamp set, Sweet Scoops, today. This is such a cute set and can be found on page 10 of the new Summer Mini Catalogue. This is a 2-step stampin’ set which allows you to build your ice cream any way you want.

I first stamped the cone in Soft Suede Classic ink on whisper white cardstock, embossed it with the new Square Lattice embossing folder and then cut each one out. The ice cream topping was stamped with Versamark, sprinkled with Irredescent Ice embossing powder and heat set. They were adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give a little “pop” to the images. The cherry was heat embossed with Clear embossing powder after stamping it with Real Red. I then cut that little guy out and adhered it to the sentiment!
