Good morning. Today I have a birthday card to share that uses the Retiring Pocketful of Posies Designer paper and a new technique. Our brother-in-law has a birthday coming up so I checked with my husband to make sure that this card would suit.
I tried the “tap dancing” technique on the main image and really like the way it turned out. Doesn’t look too flower-y. To Tap Dance, you simply ink up the main image and then dance a Stampin’ Write Marker in a different color over the inked up stamp image and then stamp it onto your card stock. I used the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch to crop out just part of the image and the 1″ Circle Punch for the smaller piece.
The MOJO Monday sketch gave me the inspiration for this layout.
