Good Morning and, Thank You Kindly for stopping by today.
I’ve been playing with some of the FREE stamps that you can get from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. The two sets I am highlighting today are, Thank You Kindly(123936) and Three Leaves(123878).
An important note for you – when you are adding your free item from Sale-A-Bration, please make sure that you use only the item number shown on the back page of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. That will ensure that you will receive your choice for free.
Now, on to the card. I was looking for ideas for a different color combination, so checked with the Stampin’ Up Color Coach. This is what was suggested………
The colors are what are called the “Creative Combination” and use Marina Mist, Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake. I added Very Vanilla for the other neutral.
The designer Paper is from the First Edition package which you will find in the Occasions Mini Catalogue. I randomly stamped the greeting on it using the “stamping off” method and backed it with a panel of Crumb Cake.
The sentiment and image were placed together just so using the Stamp-a-ma-jig(101049). This excellent tool allows you to place multiple images perfectly. I highly recommend adding it to your tool collection!
The bow was attached to the card with an Antique Brad. I tied the bow first using Lee Conrey’s Magic Bow Maker and then wrapped the “legs” of the brad around the center knot. A Paper Piercing Tool and Mat Pack allowed me to place this pretty package precisely. The tails were arranged with the help of Mini Glue Dots.
